McDonald's — Restaurant in Cary

Normally I try to stay away from posting a bad review. I would just never go back to that place without complaining. However, this place is horrible. First, my siblings and I have been sick many times after eating their nuggets, fries, and burgers. My face always breaks out whenever I eat their fries, and this isn't like a tiny hives reaction. My face would break out with large painful red pimples, and it would take a couple of days for the pimples to die down and go away. My middle brother would throw up and be sick for a few days, one time for a week, after eating their big macs. My baby brother wouldn't stop throwing up for an entire day after eating their chicken nuggets. We have ate at other locations before and never had a reaction. Another thing is that their customer service is horrible. Of course I am not expecting over-the-top service since it is a busy fast food restaurant; however, I do expect basic understanding and basic service. I ordered their new cold brew frappe which has whip cream and chocolate drizzle on top twice. The first time I ordered it at this location, the drive-thru employee got confused as to what I had ordered, I understood because it's a new item on the menu. Once I got to the pick up window, the lady that handed me my drink looked at me in disgust and handed my drink as if she had a bad day. The second time I ordered that drink, there was the same misunderstanding, which I didn't take personally. However a simple substitute of caramel drizzle instead of chocolate drizzle isn't hard. At the pay window, the cashier corrected my order and sent the correction up front to the pick up window. When I got to the pick up window, the same lady who gave me my drink last time was there. She asked me if i had ordered a sr. coffee, and I replied "no I didn't." With an attitude, she asked me, "what did you order?" to which I responded with 2 cold-brew frappes with caramel drizzle. She immediately stomped away from the window and angrily made the coffee. She handed me my two cups of coffee angrily, which has no whip cream and had chocolate drizzle on top. Normally I wouldn't make a big deal, but for two days straight, the same lady who handed me my drinks was rude to me and, I felt like she didn't want to serve me. I promise you that I will not go back to that location. I highly recommend everyone else to go to a different location. There is one on Kildaire Farm Road that is cleaner and the staff...

I went to the McDonald's at 869 SE Maynard Rd. in Cary today and received the absolute worst service here than I have anywhere in my entire life. ALL of the employees ignored me and my husband when we came in to order and get our food. The morning Manager was the rudest person I have ever met. When we were there, they were not busy. They had maybe two cars in the drive thru, possibly three while we were inside. They only had two customers inside eating their food. Me and my husband were the only ones ordering food while we were there. They brought me my food and then left before I could even tell her I needed condiments. So I was like ok, I will ask when they bring my husband's food. Same response from them, they laid it on the counter and walked away without even looking at us and ignored our request for condiments. It would have helped if they had at least acknowledged that we were there needing something. After standing there for a while, worried they didn't realize we were still there I called out excuse me, no response so I waited a few seconds and said it again, I repeated this several times. We were never even acknowledged so I did tell out excuse me, still nothing, so yes I did call out several more times and waved my arms several times trying to get their attention. Finally the manager acknowledged us and said they were busy and would get to us when they could. She kept acting like none of the several employees there could take the time to pick up a pack of jelly to give to us. The restaurant wasn't busy. They had no other customers inside and by this time, maybe up to four customers in the drive thru. Several minutes had gone by by this point and still she refused to help us. Do I told her I wanted a refund. I refuse to spend my money somewhere that treats me like dirt. She came over to the register to refund my money but she still couldn't find the time to give my husband the jelly and plastic utensils to eat his food with. He took his food and left without getting what he needed. We left there and went to the McDonald's at HW 64 and Lake Pine in Apex. I ordered my food, paid for it and received excellent food from genuinely friendly employees. Plus they gave us the jelly and utensils we needed and were very nice. The order came out wrong and I went in and asked for the correct stuff which was extra pickles and onions and it was 1 extra pickle(first time it was no pickles on it) so i told the you lady working (20's age black girk with tattoos and gages) that it still it wasn't right and she informed me that one extra pickle should be funny they only put two and are usually and give me an attitude about getting me some extra she was very rude and unprofessional the way she treated me then it took forever for her to bring me extra pickle and onion that I asked her to put in a cup so we didn't have to throw this second Burger away I can just add it to the Burger s* already made me throw the first Burger away, she had told me to throw it away and I said okay well I'll give it to my dog a few minutes later she came back and asked for it and said she needed to throw it away..I thought her whole demeanor and customer service was very very poor. And then of course when they did finally give me the pickles and onion after I had already went to the bathroom and everything sitting there waiting at least a good 5 to 7 minutes for it a day over did it they gave me enough for 10 sandwiches so I opened it up and put some on my sandwich and left the rest of it on the counter she informed me that I needed to take it and I told her no she could throw it away and that she needed to work on her customer service skills which shocked her for some reason like she didn't already know that anyway that was my take on this McDonald's...
