Good morning Sir/Ma I am reaching out to you because of your product Cha' alo Bitters.i use to buy the product from Cary Africans and Caribbeans market, North Carolina. It is my wife and her sister that's using the product because of their health. I recommended it to them. Our first Notice was that after using the bottle for like 2 to 3 weeks, the herbal mixture content in the bottle changed to light green with different odor. we have to discontinue the first bottle for the first time. Her sister made the same complain , although the expiration date is 01/2027. I went to Cary Africans and Caribbeans Market to get another 2 bottles sold 19.99usd. As my wife was opening the bottle it was the light green colour she saw and mold at the opening of the bottle. I took the two bottles back to Cary Africans and Caribbean store for notification and complaint. I was threatened with police and treated with disdain. I am writing you, to let you know my observations and what happened with your product. I will be loving and interested to hear from you.
For reference: Please note the two bottles were collected back with my receipt of purchase at Cary African and Caribbean Market. The product was purchased on May 16th, 2024 and returned Saturday, May18th, This message was sent to the producer of Kans Cha' alo bitters.

Read moreI wish I could give this a zero star rating. Don't go there if you don't want to waste your money. Everything is expired and they have really bad customer service. I went to buy some stuff and it turned out they were expired but there was no expiration date on the package so the only way to know is to open them. Nothing was edible and they smelled very bad so I called to try to get an exchange. The woman on phone was extremely rude and disrespectful to me. She shouted at me and said they couldn't exchange it because I opened the package so I decided to call and go back another day. However, they avoided my calls and I didn't want to drive there for nothing. The 5 products which were bad were mostly powdered products. All of them were bad and I saw live insects in two of them. I had to trash the products. Anyway, this is the first and last time I will be going there. I usually go to a different place in Durham but this time I was going somewhere and wanted to stop by this African market because it was on my route. I have never had any issues with items from any African store other than this place. I know I have just flushed my hard-earned money down the drain but it's okay. I hope no one shops...
Read moreLeft the store a couple of hours ago. Drove 30 minutes to go there and get some yams. Everything they have left is rotten so I asked the cashier i believe her name is Sarah, that's what written on the receipt anyway. She went i asked the short guy working in the meat section if there's any in the back, he said yes. Before she went and ask him to check the inventory she wanted to know if i needed to buy the whole box I said no I just need a couple. He refused to bring the box out since I wasn't going to buy the whole thing. This is the first time i experienced the horrible customer service everyone wrote about. I asked the young lady why he wouldn't bring it out and with a lot of attitude she said "Mam, I don't know " The young white man at the register is the only one who took the time to apologize to me for the way they treated me. No matter how much i want to support African businesses the lack of customer service is a big turn off for me. I will just take my money where it's...
