I drove by this place after I ate at a nearby restaurant. I came to this restaurant because they had a sign for 1$ tacos on Tuesdays. It's been difficult to find a decent Mexican restaurant but this place hasn't disappointed yet. Just a forewarning, the 1$ tacos are limited on the meat selections, and they're on the smaller size. But when they're 1$, you can't really complain! Not sure how much the tacos are on a regular day, but I can't help but eat at least 6 per sitting. Plenty of meat is on 1 tortilla and there is a salsa/topping section to select your toppings. This review is strictly based on tacos: Pollo – bland grilled chicken, no real seasoning. Pastor – dry and lacked flavor. Barbacoa – decent, but needed salt to bring it alive. Sauces – the best part, actually pretty good.
The tacos were also very small with barely any meat. Maybe it was because it was Taco Tuesday (half off), but I can’t imagine paying $3 per taco for the portions I got today.
Overall: decent sauces, but the tacos...
