The Agency Bar and Social — Restaurant in Cary

I ordered with the QR on my movie seat and they apparently forgot part of my order, I decided to go out and ask someone to check for my food , 35 minutes on to the movie already , because there is no way to send a message and no one verifies if something is missing. Someone says they’ll take care of it, knowing my chair and my order. 30 minutes later, I have to go out to the counter again, evidently hungry and upset, asking someone else to please get me my food. It takes them a couple of minutes and they apologize, my drink is over but they don’t care to offer anything else and of course I couldn’t finish my dinner without anything to drink and the movie is soon over. When I go out, I ask for a to-go box while I tell the service staff at the counter how bad my experience was today. No formal apology, no follow up to my complaints. I helped my friend celebrate a birthday lunch with two other ladies. Our server (Josh) was very patient and helpful. He made recommendations for food when asked. The bday girl had a small issue and Josh immediately took care of it. Josh was very attentive and responsive to our lunch needs. I highly recommend this location. I’m from the Fayetteville area but I will make recommendations for my friends who don’t mind traveling for good food and service in a nice atmosphere. 5 stars across the board! Oh my…this was BAD. First time to Fenton and we won’t be going back.

—food was not good at all and took about an hour in total to get everything out. —came out in separate orders about 30 minutes apart. —we had our two young kids and they were blaring music with every other word F bombs. —had two young girls (under 10) cleaning tables and checking on people. They were actually the best thing about the place and we tipped them, but it was very odd given the rest of the experience.

I understand the place is new and they’re learning, but this was just a really bad experience. We won’t be back but hopefully leaving this review will help things from being overlooked as the establishment...
