If not for the name, I don't think I would have realized this restaurant was connected to Brewery Bhavan in Raleigh. The atmosphere is very different. Very high ceilings with floor to wall windows, very bright and much smaller than I expected. We ordered several small plates including the Edamame Ginger Dumplings, Chicken Curry Bao, Pork Bao, and Ginger Salad and General Tso Chicken entree. All of the portions are small. I liked the Chicken Curry Bao and my wife liked the Edamame Ginger Dumplings. The General Tso Chicken was too acidic for my taste. The menu was smaller than the one on the website. The waiter didn't say anything until we asked and confirmed they are offering a limited menu currently since they just opened and hope to make the full menu available next week. Additionally, one of the staff members squatted behind us for over 30 minutes chatting with the table behind us. The restaurant is already small, this just made us feel more cramped. Also, I kind of expect the wait staff to be extra outgoing when a new restaurant opens, especially if it isn't too busy. Just didn't see that here.

My Aunt and I ate here for lunch and had a great experience. Bright and airy dining room with plants hanging from the ceiling. We each had a drink and shared the cabbage rolls, duck egg rolls, and pork bao buns. We enjoyed all of it, especially the cabbage rolls (packed with flavor) and the bao (some of the lightest and fluffiest I’ve ever had.) As other reviewers are boo-hooing, it’s true, the dining room IS small. To counter this I recommend making reservations, asking for a table on the lovely open air patio, or psychologically preparing yourself for a small space so you can avoid being a Karen about it. The restaurant is the size that it is, and if you can’t handle that it’s not their fault. Overall we had a great experience and I’d love to bring people here any time I’m in either Fenton OR Raleigh. The food was prepared with skill and served piping hot and fresh, the service was attentive, and it’s a beautiful space. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

Love, love, love Brewery Bhavana's new (little) sister location at Fenton! This location captures (on a slightly smaller scale) everything wonderful from the original BB and brings it to Fenton's cozy "Backyard" area. The condensed menu still bursts with flavor and offers lots of shareable plate options. The beers and cocktails are delish as usual... the Spicy Green is a must-try! The amosphere is light and bright and airy indoors and the outdoor patio seating is placed in a quiet courtyard. This little sister location is a fantasic addition to the larger one and she deserves a moment in the spotlight too.

Great Food, But Outdoor Experience at Cary Location Needs Work. This is one of our favorite restaurants—we go to the downtown location once or twice a month and absolutely love it. The staff knows us, the service is always great, and the food is consistently amazing. We recently tried the new Cary location. It’s smaller, which was fine, and we decided to sit outside for a change. Unfortunately, there was a table next to us that hadn’t been cleared after the previous guests. The leftover food attracted a lot of flies, which quickly became a problem at our table too. We even noticed other guests trying to shoo flies away, so it wasn’t just us. While we understand outdoor dining can have its challenges, this could have easily been avoided if the staff had cleared the table promptly. A simple fix—clearing tables right away and possibly treating the outdoor area—would make a big difference. We’ll definitely continue visiting the downtown location, but if we return to Cary, we’ll stick to...

My friend and I visited Brewery Bhavana on Saturday 9/6 without a reservation and joined the waitlist for a table for two. I asked about outdoor seating, but the hostess said all outdoor tables were reserved and she could only sit us inside. While we waited for our table it began drizzling, so my friend and I were actually happy they didn’t have an outdoor table when we asked as we would of been eating in the rain.

Suddenly, one of the outdoor guests asked for an indoor table, and our indoor table was swapped for them. We told her we wanted to keep the indoor option due to the weather, but she said she had given our table away because we had asked for outdoor seating earlier. I said we asked and you said none were available & we were thankful because of the weather. She gave our table away under an assumption. Then she lied to her manager, Creigh Bartel, who sided with the hostess, saying we had agreed to swap. We felt dismissed and discriminated against. Other then that, the...
