Gramma's Restaurant — Restaurant in Cascade

I read great reviews about this place. This is constructive criticism. I understand that there were only two waitresses. The restaurant was not busy at all. We were there after lunch. I'm sure the food is good, but we didn't get that far. Our waitress seemed to be put out that we were there. She didn't greet us, or appeared friendly. She cleaned tables instead of greeting us. After about 10 minutes, she finally took our order. Another couple came in several minutes after us and was served by a different waitress. They got their salads promptly. Mine never came. I forgot to tell her my dressing, thinking she'd come back to ask, but she never did. Time goes by. More time goes by. It's about 30 minutes after we order. She never came to tell us our order will be out soon, or to see if we needed more water, or to give me my salad. We decided to leave. Just as we were walking out the door, she grabbed our food from the kitchen window. We didn't go back for it. I was terribly disappointed in the lack of communication. Having myself worked in service before, and with patients, I know keeping people informed is very important.

The food did look great (that's why I even gave two stars) and I was looking forward to mashed potatoes and gravy, but I refuse to have subpar service no matter how short handed a business is.

The 30min wait didn't bother me... now... we were finally seated.. had menu's water. Glasses. Silverware. She got us our drinks promptly.. after that.. we didn't exist. She (Becky) walked by us numerous times.. never acknowledged if we needed water or coffee top off.. until food came another 30 min later. Then topped off everything once and we never saw her again.. food was mediocre at best.. wife got the Benedict bowl.. muffin at the bottom was a hockey puck.. but She said the topping was good. I got chicken fried steak. It wasn't bad.. rather bland if I didn't add S&P to the gravy and topped with Tabasco.. the biscuit was ok.. kinda fell apart but was ok... kids meals were ok.. boy found the rabbit meat in his hashbrowns... (hair) but he put it aside and finished the meal.. still no inquiry from Becky if we needed anything more or if food was good... or if we were still alive... I understand being busy on a sunday... but I've never been ignored like I was today... you make the judgment call to eat here or not... I won't darken their...

Horrible experience not only does it take 45 minutes to get water to our table the waitress look half High. finally got to take our order and sat there for another half an hour before someone came and said how long ago did you order? because I don't know what they're doing in the kitchen? right after that the people that was there even longer than us got up and left and so did we the waitress had a pair of shorts on that was almost to her privates visible in a family restaurant with bruises all up and down her legs how professional is that I will never take my family and you should not take your family here pretty bad when your daughter that wear Spanx in volleyball says that the waitresses shorts were too short. Definitely would have been upset if I would have had smaller kids with me horrible and unprofessional place I was just dumbfounded especially because I've been there before and it was nothing like this I don't know what has changed since last time we came here but maybe they need to look into getting a different crew. Definitely not...
