Our family and friends have been loyal patrons of Brew Moon for years. Unfortunately, our most recent visit ended very badly, and I feel obligated to warn others.
After dining there, we decided to walk around town. When we returned, our car had been towed ā despite the lot being nearly empty (odd considering it was cheeseburger festival). There are no parking/towing signs posted at the south entrance or near the parking spaces themselves. The only sign is located at the north entrance, which anyone entering from the south would never see.
We later learned this is not uncommon, as the owner frequently calls the towing company. In fact, another family dining at Brew Moon had their car towed at EXACT same time - what are the odds! To make matters worse, the tow company demanded cash only to release our vehicle, which felt extremely questionable.
This was especially upsetting as we were returning with our 11-month-old on a hot summer day. Clear signage would have prevented this situation entirely. For reference, Michigan law (MCL 257.252k) requires private property owners to post conspicuous signs before towing vehicles.
We will not be returning, and I strongly caution others: if you choose to visit Brew Moon, be very careful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give extra stars for atmosphere if I could. I want to start by saying, I am a coffee girl, Iāve traveled a lot and sought out all of the coffee shops, I really feel qualified for this review (lol). With that said, as soon as I stepped in i immediately forgot what I was doing or any stess that I had weighing me down before I opened the door. The smell felt like a warm cinnamon cloud, the baked goods in the pastry window were all beautifully sitting together with the right amount of glaze. I ordered a cold brew, and it didnāt disappoint at all. My kids ordered pastries (a danish, and a cinnamon square) which, of course I had a bite of each.. and I was couldnāt help but say out loud āHOW DID THEY MANAGE!!!????ā They even had tie-dye bagels (I have only ever found them in New York). Then just when you feel like this place couldnāt get any more amazing you find the adorable gift shop. I could write a much longer review, but I think this says a lot already. The conclusion, I am a huge fan of this place, and will be back next time Iām...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe vibeā¦the vibeā¦oh, the vibe at Brew Moon Coffee in Caseville is absolutely perfect! šā I tried their creation Tres Leches Iced Latte with sweet foam and an extra shot of espresso, and wowāso flavorful with such a distinct, rich roast. Coffee lovers, this is a must-try!
Beyond the coffee, the shop is full of charm. They carry handmade goods, eclectic finds, and even fun Dolly Parton items alongside a lovely tea selection. The baked goods looked incredibleāespecially the asiago bagels and the Pop-Tart-style pastries. Next time, Iām definitely grabbing one.
The setting is as delightful as the coffee. They have a scenic walking path and the flowers were in full bloom during my visitāsuch a peaceful spot to sip, stroll, and soak in the Caseville charm. I will...
