We have a summer house in Caseville and have been here for about 20 years. We’re not tourists, and every time we come here they treat you rude, and it’s a very uncomfortable atmosphere. We have tried it many times hoping it would get better, and it never has unfortunately. They should be happy to have the tourism because believe me that’s what keeps them afloat. Labor Day weekend we came in on Sunday at 2:00pm because we wanted to check out their new “deck upstairs” (which they posted about on Facebook) and order some apps and have some drinks. We walked in we’re not greeted and followed the deck sign, the door was closed so my husband asked a waitress “hi, is the deck upstairs open?” and she rudely said “um, I don’t think so” and walked away to the kitchen. I was flabbergasted. They were not busy, she could have said let me check, or say unfortunately no we don’t have the staff or whatever the reason was. We just stood and looked at each other in awe that was how they treat their customers. We left and went over the thumb brewery which is always exceptional with food, drinks, live entertainment and service. Beachys as well, they are just different vibes. With the amount of negative reviews I read tonight about Blue Water when coming on to post this I’m not surprised. They better figure it out and get better staff because paying customers have A LOT more options which are way better than this place to spend...
Read moreCalled a head & ordered food. Wing ding meal & side of chicken strips. Arrived & sat down. One of us went to the bar to get out drinks(one beer & one coke), waited at bar for over 20 minutes without any acknowledgement, bartender even gave everyone else at the bar a drink & didn’t even ask him what he wanted. Finally, he said something to her about it & she gave him his beer but didn’t apologize or even acknowledge the fact that she had ignored him for over 20 minutes. I was sitting at our table the whole time & a waitress came over to see what I was needing. I told her that we had already ordered & gave her my name. She brought out the wing ding meal with no silverware for the coleslaw. The fries were burned to a crisp & was only 1/2 an order, if we were lucky. Must of been the bottom of the bag because I looked around & ours were the only ones like that. I had to ask about the chicken strips before they brought them out a full 10 minutes later & she was annoyed about having to get them. Never did get any silverware. I go there often but I think I will rethink it next time & go somewhere else. Food was terrible & the servers were very rude & acted put out on having to do the job. I left no tip because I didn’t believe one was deserved. VERY...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would... Started off by asking if they had a full bar "A what? I don't know what the hell that is", replied the waitress who acted like we were her long time enemy. I said okay just a margarita for me. It came to me in a split second and I couldn't even swallow my first sip. It was legitimately salt water with a squeeze of lime. Seriously. It was the Atlantic ocean with a lime wedge. I have never had a drink that gross, from even the sketchiest of bars. Looking at the menu we really couldn't decide on food. The waitress came over and said "Are ya finally ready or should I keep walking?". That was such a weird way to ask if we needed more time, so we said we did because we were just taken back. She brought another waitress over to take care of us because I guess her shift was ending. We politely just asked for the check and decided to eat elsewhere. We paid with no tip (we were there for 5 minutes) and walked straight out. It was just a weird and extremely off putting experience! Not to mention there were many people sitting at the bar, yet there was no music playing and it was silent. Everyone started at us as we walked in. So freaking weird. We went across the street to the Boathouse and it was so...
