First visit was opening night. Got decent drink service at the bar and the wrap I ordered came out quick and was delicious. Second visit was the following night. Drink service at a table was slower, and both my friend and I ordered the buffalo blue cheese wagyu burgers - both which arrived charred and with bacon and cheddar instead of buffalo and blue cheese. When I inquired about it the waitress brought back sides of buffalo sauce... but still no blue cheese. I ended up having to ask for ranch separately. Third visit was the Sunday night prior to the eclipse. After waiting 10 minutes to have our order taken the bartender took (literally) 15 more minutes to make the 4 drinks and gave us a lot of attitude for ordering the Gaslight cocktail. You would think it wouldn't be that difficult to make since it is a drink specifically named after the bar that is serving it, but I digress. Our drinks came out filling half the cup instead of full, as well as substituting the cucumber vodka with regular well vodka. In contrast to the experience at the bar our group ended up sitting at one of the long tables after that and our service there was fantastic. It would seem they have some logistical and staffing issues to work out, and I'll be happy to change my review after a few more visits now that the eclipse crowd has gone and they get settled in. As it stands it has been incredibly hit-or-miss so far.
TL;DR - It was super busy during the first week due to the eclipse and service and selection varied greatly from...
Read moreWe love this place! We've been there twice and had a blast! Especially playing all of the nostalgic arcade games in the back! We shared the nachos and they were good! I would give them 5 stars, but the service could be better, especially up by the pinball machines. It was difficult to get a drink at the bar at times, but the place was also packed. So I would allow some leniency and have a little patience, as they are trying to get their legs underneath them. Please keep in mind that they literally just opened and have been slammed with people sincere. I should mention too that I saw one of the owners, Matt Galloway, running his tail off, waiting tables both times we were in there. I was very impressed by that! Now if some of the other wait staff still suck in a few weeks, that may be a different review. If it improves, I'll throw in the 5th star! That said, this is very much my new favorite place and I've been recommending it to all...
Read moreCompelled to write my very first review. A truly impressive level of fail. Waited more than 2 hours in the middle of the afternoon. Two of the six people in our party were served food. Food never came for the remaining four of us. Was told by waitress it was chaos in the kitchen and apologized over and over again. We finally left after waiting 45 min AFTER the first two people in our party finished their meal. Many people around us left without ever getting their food. I'm sure the new restaurant will make a killing with the tourism coming into town for the eclipse, but I wouldn't give any more business to this place to show who ever the owners are (that never showed their face when we were there) that this is an unacceptable way to run a business. I'd also not recommend any tourists in town to go here to ensure they have a good time visiting. Plenty of other businesses here to get...
