Seven Mile Post — Restaurant in Castle Hayne

PREGNANT WOMAN AND CHILDREN TURNED AWAY. I went there at 5:30 p.m. to meet some co-workers after work, it was not busy. A worker opened the door for me as I carried my toddler in, and then proceeded to tell me we weren't allowed to stay because children are not allowed. Cool, understandable, don't want them to lose their liquor license. I asked if I could call my friend to come meet me up front so she could hold my daughter and I could use the restroom super quick (I'm also very pregnant). He then proceeded to kick her and my daughter out of the restaurant and told them they had to go stand outside on the smoking patio. I will never ever step foot in this place again. If I could leave a 0 I would. If you want to go here to drink don't. You'll waste your money. All around trashy. There are many other wonderful bars that you could go to and be treated better. There fire exits were all chained and had locks on them so if there is a fire or anything no one will be able to get out safely and efficiently. That should be looked at by the county because I'm pretty sure that code violation. Bathrooms had things in them that I would say would not be appropriate. So if you like dirty , smelly , and disrespectful people then that's your place. The food place was awesome. Excellent service and food though. I'll talk to the owner about him moving his restaurant elsewhere. He would have better business...

A little pricey if you’re drinking but such a great place to hang out and hear great music! Glad someone brought the old Beach House back to life. I miss having the inside DJ and an outside band so you can experience two different atmospheres all in one place. Love going there on a nice evening for some great music still. Food is good. I don’t get there much, but if you live in that area go enjoy some music-you’ve got a great place right up the road.
