First off, $27 for a 3pc chicken basket, a 5pc chicken nugget, and two orders of curly fries?? Outrageous. We had initially ordered two sides of nuggets, at (supposedly) $3.99 each. The math didn't seem right, and despite the girl at the drive thru practically pressing the receipt into my husband's forehead to make sure it appeared correct, we couldn't figure out how even after tax, this all cost $30. We got our food, and noticed that we only got one 5pc when we thought we ordered two. So naturally, we gave our son his meal while I went in to correct the error. She argued with me about whether I ordered one or two, blamed my husband for not understanding her attempts to review the receipt at the window, insulted me by breaking down the math item by item while cutting me off, and would not let me get two words in. All over what we thought was just 5 missing nuggets that looked like the gross frozen ones you can buy at the store. I saw that our receipt said the fries were $4.99 each, not $2.99 like two menus on-site said. I walked out, but my husband decided to try returning it all for a full refund. We took all of the food, including the meal my son was munching on (minus one chicken strip and one piece of toast), and watched while my husband was treated the same way I was.. She even tried to say that the fries were $4.99 because they were "large size", which is news to me because their menuboard doesn't list sizes, only a $2.99 pricetag. Then she told us she couldn't refund because she's not the owner. Eventually we did get a partial refund - after she made sure to charge us for the chicken strip and toast our 12 year old ate... Living in Washington, I have learned how to stomach high prices for things... and usually I can handle poor service as well. But the combination of being both petty AND skimming our bill was too much for me to just let go and go home. If you're near there, save the drama and just go to Burger King...
Read moreI've only been here twice. The first time was 3 weeks ago and I went through the drive-thru. The young gal told me to go park and they would bring my food right out to me. After waiting outside for 25 minutes I decided to go in and see what the hold-up was (they weren't busy). I was given some story about how the ticket machine wasn't working properly and the new owners were too cheap to replace it and they had lost my order or possibly given it to someone else. No biggie..mistakes happen. The cook was on top of it and he had my food made quickly and it was pretty good. Last night I thought I would give them another try. Same scenario.. same girl took my order and told me to park. This time they were very busy but after 25 minutes I figured I should go in and check. The girl who took my order was at the counter flirting with some guy who clearly wasn't a customer while there was a line of people in the drive-thru being ignored. She wouldn't make eye contact with me and neither would the other gal making ice cream cones. While I was in there they managed to mess up 2 orders and one lady was so frustrated she left without her food. I was in there for 13 more minutes before the cook came up asked me what I was waiting for. I told him and it was obvious he hadn't started my burger. ( I ordered a burger, tater tots, and a milkshake) At this point I asked to have my money back. They then tried to give me the order of tater tots I saw sitting in the fryer basket the whole time I was in there. I restated that I just wanted my money and the young gal (who was obviously to blame) was extremely rude. She has zero business working in customer service and the cook should get out of there as...
Read moreMy son and I came here trying to find something new to try in the area.
If I could I would have left 2.5 stars and the only reason for that would be that the food was quick, fresh and hot. The main reason we chose this place was that I was craving an elk burger. It was like a 1/4 pound McDonalds sized patty. Burger was meh. Tasted like elk but nothing like what I have had at other local places here in the county.
The killer was that portion sizes were Suuuuuper small compared to the price. My son and I got an Elk Burger (12.99 nothing but burger, shredded lettuce, some onion and thin slice of tomato) with Cheese (single slice for 1.49) Grilled ham and cheese (7.99) no fries or anything else on the plate. And a basket of Fried Mushrooms and French Fries (11.99) which came with 4 small fried mushrooms and 15 fries (I counted them) and the gentleman asked if we wanted sauce with them. (1.49 for a small ramekin of bbq sauce) And I asked if we could have water to drink from the fountain and was told they have bottled water for 2.49. So we split a bottle of water. Total with Tax somehow came to 44.79. I dont know how.
We won't be back here. Parkers across the street has way better food and table service for a few dollars less. Heck, my son wanted sushi and I didn't feel like driving up to Chehalis but now I wish we had. It would have been cheaper...
