R&D's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Castleton Township

I want to really like this place but this last visit was ridiculous. We walked in and was told to sit anywhere. We chose a back table due to others taken or dirty. A server bussed the table to our left and took the order of the table in front of us, but didn't bother to approach us at all. We sat for 15 minutes before I went back to the counter and said I would really love it if anybody would be willing to wait on us tonight. At the time, we were one of 3 or 4 tables so it wasn't busy at all. Someone came to us right away apologizing stating it was mostly new people working and she'd let her manager know. Service was slow and had to keep getting the waitresses attention. She kept talking to other tables for excessive amounts of time. Food finally came only ordered 3 subs and there was more staff than customers so idk why it took so long especially since my sub was cold and soggy inside with uncooked mushrooms from a can.. too much tomato and wet ham that was barely there anyway. I couldn't even eat 1/4 of my deluxe due to it turning my appetite

If you monitored your restaurant like you do your reviews you my have more happy customers. Our dissatisfaction was written all over our faces, the waitresse didn't even ask how the food was. Didn't ask for a manager because i didn't want anything besides an edible meal...

I absolutely love these guys. They got more than pizzas. There burgers are on point too! For the past month I've gone here once or twice a day, for either their burger and fries, or a pizza or even a cheese and steak sub. Everybody is so friendly And their prices are the best in town. I also have to say that the new paint job is quite Sharp. Everything so well put together. I genuinely encourage anybody who lives in the Nashville area to try them out if they haven't already.
