Goolutea — Restaurant in Castro Valley

Solid tea place. Interesting niche lime products. Didn’t try it, but would like to come again to try. Mochi donuts are always nice, but this place’s were standard. Would prefer if it was a bit more chewy and the outside more crisp. The flavors didn’t really pop out at you. For a drink, I got the jasmine milk lime cold foam with less sugar. Standard drink that I didn’t quite enjoy, but probably I’ll get regular sweetness next time. A bit watery and just a slight bit of jasmine. Lime really shines through but not sure if I like it. Not going to be craving this any time on, but a solid choice for a quick snack and drink. Other drink sound good, and they we’ve a niche desire for lime. Unfortunately, no other snacks...

Despite Castro Valley having it's fair share of tea places, Goolu Tea is a different vibe and feel from other typical "bubble tea" spots. While bubble tea offers a more traditional offering with tapioca boba, black milk, or green milk teas, Goolu offers it's base in Lime tea and a lot of fruity flavors. Id also say the sugar level, even on Regular, feels a lot less than typical milk tea. This place just opened so it can be a bit crowded but service was incredibly friendly and they even fixed my order quickly when they accidentally gave me the wrong tea.

I don’t support Businesses that Treat their workers bad ! I will be calling the city on them and Filing a complaint !!! I saw how they Screamed and talked to there workers and making comments behind there back ! I would be Miserable being in a Disgusting environment.
