I never had Mexican ice before and I love it. I went in knowing what to get from watching a utube video that brought me there.

The shopkeeper welcomed me with a smiling face. I didnt know a word of spanish so I just point at this picture which i guess happens to be the popular item which is the mango. thingy that I wanted.

Michelle is the owner of Azucena's and she serves the freshest fruit and smoothies in the desert! When we went into Azucena's, it was a very warm day and I was completely exhausted from heat. She made some healthy and refreshing suggestions which I agreed for her to make for me. Within 10 minutes of devouring her suggestion, I left feeling 100% better than what I had felt when I first arrived. This place is amazing. I am a native in the cathedral city area and grew up coming to this place after ballet practice as a young girl. I remember walking to this place with friends during the hot summer days, and coming in with my family. The owner and her staff are always very attentive and the quality is always excellent.
