McDonald's — Restaurant in Catlettsburg

Used the kiosk to fast track the order and the food was great! They made a little mistake by giving me the wrong flavor coffee, but otherwise the service was amazing. Great improvement from last time.

Previously: Store was clean, food was so hot and good. Service was awful. I stood for nearly five minutes without even being greeted by the cashier who seemed either half asleep or high as a kite. She seemed to be floating along. She forgot my order as she was typing it in and it wasn't complicated. Did I mention this was during lunch and there was one person at the counter and one at the drive through (part that gives the food). Drive through girl was busy and doing her job as fast as possible, no complaints about her. Cashier girl was just awful. Barely smiled, looked checked out. Look, I've worked McDonald's, it is not a fun job, but I have also worked as a cashier and you need to greet people fast and keep a pleasant attitude even if you want to fall over. It’s better than the Ashland or Kenova stores. Ate breakfast in Ashland the other day and a woman sweeping was trying to see how high and far she could sling the floor filth, I got up and moved twice to get away from the slob. Kenova last time I was in there months ago, my wife and I ordered and we paid than moved to the PU station and they never fixed our orders. I asked for my money back took them 10 minutes or longer to do that and then never asked why...

Not every fast food place is perfect. There's a constant cycle of beginner crew that's starting out and training. This McDonald's is super clean . orders may not be perfect but for the most part they do try their best.
