Wait staff is friendly and answers all our questions on the food. Have been here a few times and been treated great. The food is delicious have eaten all the tacos, which are cheap. Taco taste depends on the filling obviously, some are better than others. All tacos are fairly cheap and are discounted on Tuesdays. You have to ask for table cheese for the tacos. Got the burrito was ok, chipotle is better and same price. Caldo de pollo was buttery and fresh. Have tried the chicharrones but they were too dry for me. I don't use the grocery portion, other than for candies which you have to acquire a taste for, I love them now. I would recommend for the restaurant. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food you will like this place. If you like americanized then you should still try, but realize its authentic and might not be the sizes or taste you...

Legit Mexican restaurant and grocery. We stopped by here off I-26 on our way home from Hilton Head for lunch. I went lighter with 2 tacos, one Pastor and one beef baracoa, with a side of rice. Probably the best Mexican rice I’ve had in a long time. The pastor pork was a little disappointing, with the green salsa on the table not adding much flavor, but the baracoa beef was delicious. It's one of the few Mexican stores in the area selling most of the items found out near and in Mexico. The meat market is small but the essential meats that are used everyday are there. The marinated meat (red meat) is tasty and true to what I've had near the border of Mexico. They also sell unseasoned meat for those that wish to do it themselves. The store is also unique in that it has a restaurant inside that uses the produce of the store in order to prepare the meals.
