Gravy's Diner — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

This was my first time going here today 7/16/23 and it most certainly will not be my last! this place is amazing, Hands down best diner I’ve been to in years! The staff each and every one of them are so kind and attentive! Makes you feel like your family when you walk in and when you are walking out! The food was just as good! My partner and I got a waffle with strawberries on it, and an omelette and breakfast sandwich, it was all delicious! I decided since I've never visited this place I would try it out one random weekday morning. I was greeted immediately and told to grab a seat in a booth. They are very talkative (I would assume since its a small, local business ) . Service was 8/10. Food 4/10. I did have to send my meat back because it was not cooked on one side. The shredded hashbrowns must be out of a box because they don't taste like real potatoes. I would skip out on the sausage and hashbrowns. The eggs, wheat toast, bacon and coffee was great! We always have great food and great service here. This is a locally owned business in the Cedar Valley. The family is hard working and makes customer service and quality food No. 1. The Biscuits and Sausage Gravy are the best you will find anywhere. We have eaten biscuits and gravy across the USA and there are no fresher biscuits, or better sausage gravy.
