DISGUSTING. NOT GOING BACK. I went in today for my usual two tacos and coffee like I always did a few times a week. There was a young woman at the counter placing an order while holding a dog with one arm against her chest and holding her phone with the other hand. Her other hand was also touching the dog and the keypad for making payment. They were standing four feet from the espresso machine and about 6-8 feet from the kitchen. The dog's rear end is facing the kitchen and his feet are practically touching the counter where food and drinks are served. I told the woman that this is a food establishment and that dogs are not allowed inside per the large sign at the entrance. I asked her to be respectful of other customers in the coffee shop. She dismissively said she needed to place an order and then turned around and ignored me. No apology, no urgency to remove the dog, nothing. After she left, I asked the staff person if they ever tell customers to take out their dogs. She said they do. Well then why take her order? Ask her to remove her dog from the shop and come back. They simply don't care about the health and comfort of their customers. They just want to take their money. Not from me anymore. I was disgusted, so I said 'never mind' and walked out of the store. Knowing how they allow animals so close to drinks and food, I am never...
Read moreOverall 8.4/10, the coffee was good (latte, Mocha) and the service was good as well for being decently busy. Coffee was out in 5min and our breakfast tacos were out in 10min. The food was really good in my opinion and so was the coffee. The atmosphere fits the aesthetic; and it’s not as loud as you would expect for being a coffee shop and a Brewery. Red Horn has wifi for studying or work, or maybe if you want to watch a sports game on your phone. Going back to atmosphere this place is very versatile in a way that you can study, drink beer and converse, do work, watch college football.
Cons: The restroom was a little on the dirty side and when we sat down none of the tables had been wiped off really. So there were crumbs where we set. Not a big deal ended up wiping it off myself. Wife had to have more chocolate for her Mocha because it literally tasted like my latte. Again 8.4/10 would recommend, and will continue...
Read moreIve been coming here for years and it’s been my favorite local spot.
Good beer, food and coffee.
However, recently they changed their menu from a diverse array of choices (cali burrito, flautas, pastor nachos) to smash burgers and hot dogs “/
I’ll still be supporting them but not as much as before. Mostly for the coffee on the weekends. The beer was great as it would pair well with their cali burrito or tacos. But for 8-13$ a burger and 7-8 $ beer, I rather go else where nearby like Sharks burger and get their beer to go for more value.
It was a unique spot due to their unique menu as an anchor. Now it’s just another relatively high priced burger/hotdog cafe/brewery in the suburbs. New customers may disagree which is fair, but as a loyal long time customer I’ll miss the...
