We called in about 5:15 to hopefully get our food before 6pm kickoff. Ok, we can't pick up until 6:30. I arrive right at 6:30 to find the lobby and waiting area completely jammed with people all waiting on pick up orders. People are already visibly annoyed. The restaurant was only about half full. There were several drivers there from Grubhub that said "they seem to be way behind". After about 20 minutes I start to compare notes with others standing around me, they were all there before me, it's not looking good. This has been my typical experience at BWW. Long waits, no matter the crowd size, I just quit even trying. Every once in awhile I have to go because I'm not the decisionmaker and every time I just shake my head at what is wrong in the back that takes so long to get wings on my table during a peak dining time. It literally feels like they are doing only one order at a time. I would think you have wings on hot standby, coming in steady, shake 'em in some sauce, get 'em out. I know there are other things on the menu, but lets be real, look around, most people have wings and fries. Maybe it's this location only? This location has a horrible rep. Personally I would advise to steer clear if you have a time constraint. Our last visit had me leaving 30 minutes past the pick up time I was told on the website. I made the mistake of not checking my bag as I left in frustration. I got home and realized they did not give us our fries. At this point, I'm resigned and angry. My gf decides to call in, to which I tell her is just foolish. I was just there, I watched for a half hour as the phones went ignored and unanswered. Just a constant dirge of ringing phones. She called anyway. Busy but she keeps trying, finally she gets through. Tells the story, whoever is on the other end is clueless. She has to ask someone, she puts my gf on hold, but really just hangs up. She calls back, gets through, but the person puts her on hold again so she can take down information, again, hung up.
No happy ending. We gave up. As far as I'm concerned this location is badly managed. Can't speak for the...
Read moreWe got there at 6:00 PM party of 2 and were seated with no wait, dining side, boneless Tuesdays. 5 of 10 booths were empty, the table behind us was empty along with 3 others on our side. We sat and waited until 6:20 for our waitress to finally approach us and order our drinks. She served another family that was seated after us but we shrugged it off since she came to us after and said she'd be right with us. Just as she approached our table, the power went out. No worries she assured us, this happens regularly (surprising considering what follows). We got our drinks around 6:30 (place order system crashed (POS)) and our waitress took our order by hand. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently for our food (two medium orders of wings and 1 order of queso dip). After 15 minutes of nothing, we were informed our order was in and waiting to hear back from the kitchen. Another 15 minutes pass and our waitress approaches us explaining that our food wasn't being processed due to the power going out and the POS crashing and there was no telling when our food would be ready. She then informs us that she can cash out our drinks and let us go if we like. We choose to wait it out. Not even 5 minutes later she lets us know that the manager has decided to give us our drinks for free since there is no telling when our food will be ready and it's been over an hour. Had we not gotten our drinks for free this would have been a 1 star review. If you are fine with taking a gamble on whether the power will stay on during your visit this would probably be a fine place to visit. Just keep in mind you run the risk of the power shutting off and waiting an additional 45 minutes for no food in addition to not being able to watch anything. Drove an extra 10 minutes to the Edgewood one and got our order placed in less than 5 minutes of walking...
Read moreWe were a party of 4 during a slower time. After waiting for quite a long time 3 of the meals were brought out. Not as much sauce as usual. The 4th meal didn't show up for at least 25 minutes AFTER everyone else's meals. Server never came over to quality check. Since the rest of the people were over half done with their meals, I found the manager to see if my order was forgotten. He asked who the server was (that was my only interaction with him). I pointed him out and the server decided to loudly say that no food sits in the window. I get that, but a over 20 minute difference for food ordered together? I saw at least 4 tables food go out that came in AFTER me. When I finally received my meal, it had obviously been microwaved. The outer part was tough, rubbery, dry, and way over cooked. No one even apologized for the delay or anything. No one came back to quality check, and no one refilled sodas, until we flagged down the server. I have over 20 years experience in the restraunt industry. From back of house to front of house, to management.... Expeditors need to expedite, Cooks need to finish a table before starting the next, servers need to quality check, and managers need to make sure things are ok, ESPECIALLY after knowing of an issue.... and the first thing said should have been "sorry", not an "push off" to someone else, sn excuse and defence. I will not return. Here's a picture of my...
