I was there with a special needs client the other day. We put in our order. It was fairly simple. He wanted the two cheeseburgers meal with honey mustard on the side for dipping. I wanted a quarter pounder deluxe meal with an extra quarter pounder deluxe.
After the order was placed (which seemed to take far too long as my client has a slight speech impediment and the man at the cash register took advantage of this, pretending he couldn't understand him) the man handed us one cup. I asked why we didn't get two, since we both asked for drinks. The man argued and said my client only wanted two cheeseburgers and insisted he didn't ask for fries or a drink. I assured him my client did, indeed, ask for the two cheeseburger meal. The man at the register said there was no way he could fix it now, so I had to place a second order of fries and drink. Seems a slimy way to do business - pretend you can't understand someone who is special needs and then lie about what they ordered just so you can charge a little more for the fries and drink, since apparently the McDonald's corporation has no way of simply fixing an order botched by an employee.
A short while later, I got our food. One tray only had the two cheeseburgers and no dipping sauce. Since "ADD HONEY MUSTARD" was written on the burgers, I asked a woman who I assume was a manager if that meant the honey mustard was on the burgers. She said it shouldn't be. I asked for the dipping sauce, since it wasn't on the tray, and she went on to tell me they didn't have that in the back where they make the burgers, so they couldn't put it on the burger. I asked again for the dipping sauce and again she told me that it won't be on the burger and if it is, let her know. So, I explained slowly this time that my client wanted honey mustard to dip his fries in. So, they gave us hot mustard and I had to ask again for the honey mustard.
Also, one of my burgers was a quarter pounder deluxe. The other was not.
I have never expected better than mediocre service at any McDonald's, but lately it seems they're all...
Read moreThis was by far the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had. Everything up until the food window was fine, it was when I got there that the problems began. The worker at the window had no clue what my order was, despite being asked my name in the drive thru and verifying at the pay window. She asked what I had ordered so I told her, she panicked a bit then grabbed a bag from in back and pushed it through the window at me. When i reached in my bag there were no fries, at this point I was irritated. I was close enough that I went back to get them. Stopped at the window, told them what was up, and the kitchen & window people were yelling back & fourth. Then a lady comes to yell at the lady who handed me my food. I’m told to pull around and my fries will be right out. So I do that, wait 5 minutes, make some phone calls, a few cars go through the line, I keep waiting. Then someone pops out the door to tell me it’ll be another minute and a half. So I wait. 4 minutes later a car behind me is in the waiting area, a lady brings out their food & asks me why Im waiting. I tell her, she says I’ll go get those. Waited ANOTHER 3 minutes. By then all my food was cold and I still didnt have fries. This...
Read moreI needed to do a quick drive through order to go work on a house. I ordered for my husband, daughter and myself. I ordered the two cheeseburger meal and they only gave me one. I called and yes they replaced it. But I had to tell them I would like to eat the part of my meal I did get so it didn't get cold. Then because I had to go pick up something things I had to eat the second sandwich that I had to drive a couple miles to get in the car. So yes they did give me my second cheeseburger but I should NOT have to make two trips to eat my meal. This is the second time I have had McDonald's in a year due to they NEVER get it right. The last time we had McDonald's on the other side of town they gave my husband the complete wrong sandwich then when they did give him the right sandwich the meat was raw and still cold. We have had another McDonald's that the meat was missing on the cheeseburger. So this is just a few of the times we have had horrible service at mc Donald's. Hence the reason we go maybe 2 a year and only because they are in the area we need a...
