Pre-order online through the app does absolutely nothing, they don't actually start making your food until you arrive at the store. I ordered food to be picked up 30 minutes after I ordered it, it took an additional 20 minutes after pickup time for them to have the food ready... then when we did pick up the order they forgot to include the side that I had ordered with it. I took a chance ordering with this company again after having deleted their app almost a year ago... I was hoping service would have improved, but it seems to be all locations have this issue cuz I've used all three locations in our area and they all have the same attitude and the same issues when it comes to serving their customers. It's too bad because they have good food, but my advice would be to bop in the store and order the food when you want the food. I like stopping at this Pancheros location since it is close to my workplace and I frequent here for my lunch breaks. I ordered a chicken quesadilla as usual and it was delicious! Unfortunately the customer service was severely lacking. When I came up to the register to pay for my order I was not given a hello or asked if I wanted anything extra like chips and queso. Behind the counter was a young lady with cheek piercings who had an AirPod in, not just to listen to music, but for a pointless phone call the entirety of my visit. I was confused at first if she was speaking to me under her breath or to herself. Instead she was having a casual conversation with what I assume is a close friend of hers. Overall I found the interaction pretty rude, especially during a lunch rush. Several other guests ahead of me and behind me passed through the line while she was still on that phone call. Terrible customer service. Ordered online at 11:00am. Showed up at 11:55 and didn’t receive food until 12:30pm. Had manager shouting across restaurant that I was in the wrong for asking them to please make my food soon. Took 4 times before they made it and then the manager is basically calling me out to other 40 customers who haven’t gotten their food yet. His reason for not having it ready was a “big order” which included a burrito, burrito bowl, quesidilla, and chips a queso. Also was busy which is understandable but the 1st ave panch in Cedar Rapids doesn’t have 40 customers waiting at a time. Was more worried about making sure I was in the wrong then making food and making sure customers are happy. Not on that I had 3 other people waiting next to me for 30+ minutes for online orders.
