Worst customer service ever. I went through the drive thru on 8/28/22 at 12:03 pm. A rude employee on the far end of the drive thru taking orders says, "Hold on" instead of saying, "Sorry for your wait I'll be with you in just a moment. After seeing three cars on the other side order being taken and gone, I proceed to say hello once more. The rude employee says, "Hold on, I'm busy". Is that how to talk to a customer who is coming to spend their money? Someone else decides to take over and take my order. I get to the pickup window to receive my order and I could tell it's the rude employee from her voice. I just told her like, there's another way that you could have gone about saying you guys were short staff at the moment instead of being so rude about it, saying you're busy. She hands me my drinks and then points at me like I'm a child, saying over there. Meaning to pull over and park like the other cars are doing and someone would bring my food out to me. Another employee had to explain to me that they were short staff which I understand it happens working in fast food. I park and go in because now I want her name so I could reach out to the store manager to complain about the bad experience I just went through at store #4284 on 33rd Ave S.W. A manager with red colored dreads who is a black woman proceeds to tell me that they can't give out employee's names. I'm shocked because how are you able to complain about a certain employee if you can't get their name. Another Mc Donalds gives me their store manager number. I didn't know it was her personal number that was given out. Instead of Ashley the store manager listening to my concerns and saying she apologizes about the bad experience I've encountered at her location, but this is my personal number, and it shouldn't have been given out. She speaks and says, who gave you my personal number where I pay the bill? It then clicked to me that, that is why her employees are rude and disrespectful and there was no sense in calling her back tomorrow due to her tone and choice of words. I would just go another place and spend my hard-earned...
Read moreDo not go to this location. Something is wrong in the work culture. First I have never seen a sign on the door at any McD location that says essentially if you are rude to the employees we will not serve you. Never! I felt sympathy for the employees when I saw it, however now I understand who is rude. I ordered and paid on the kiosk, the meal deal, and waited, no problem. However after 10 minutes and other in restaurant orders served ahead of us, I checked in. Attitude filled worker said our order was “still being cooked.” Ok. 2 minutes later still nothing. I pushed the “assist button to get a refund. Just, it’s not working, let’s all move on. Same worker, same attitude, wouldn’t refund, said order being cooked. I thanked her for the information. 3 minutes after that I approached the counter - I just want a refund - and she wouldn’t let anyone help me, she stayed in the back area, telling the crew- she’s just waiting for her food. I called back, since no one would come to the counter- no I need a refund. A minute later a younger kid came to the counter and gave me cash out of the drawer, someone in the back said, why are you up there and he said, no one else is helping them. Quietly thanked him for his help. I’m at a loss to understand why this happened. Almost seemed like a sport for that one worker. Interesting- mentioned this to a friend later in the evening, like oh yeah this happened, and oddly they reported a similar problem at that location- waiting a very long time for an order- others served ahead in the restaurant, no one would help them. Stopped eating at McD’s overall...
Read moreThe young man who took my order at the drive through spoke as if he was the world's fastest auctioneer. I asked him to speak slower so I could understand him. He continued to speak too fast and there was no display of my order on the kiosk board. Then at the second window, a girl handed me my food and in a condescending tone apologized to me and said it was his first day.. he has worked there for more than a month. They're told to say this to disgruntled customers who rightfully complain to distract the customer from their anger. Who could be mad at a noob, right? The new franchise owner and management will be contacted on Monday. I had hoped new owners/management and 10.00 per hour would bring a positive change. All this after asking politely 3 times to speak slower. It was at around 7:30 pm on 10/18/19. I believe his name is John. It's even worse that the food I was given had hard buns and it had BBQ sauce instead of ketchup.. I ordered 2 Mc Doubles.. not 2 Mc Ribs.. I'm sorry but I'm not giving this location my business again. I have disabilities. Asking someone to speak slower so one can understand them isn't an outrageous request, is it? 11 years of going there and it's still going down the tubes in customer service, for shame. This is probably the worst review I've ever posted on a...
