Sam's Pizza And Mr. B's Bar — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I didn’t have the number to call so I googled Sams pizza. It gave me the option for delivery and thought it would be a great idea. I ordered the pizza threw the link they provided me which is through door dash. Everything went smoothly ordered my pizza got confirmation my order was received and even got a track giving me updates. They said I would have it in 44 mins. I keep tracking the pizza because I thought it was kind of cool. And by the looks of it everything was working out. That was until I received a phone call from the door dash rep. They were at Sams and Sams claimed they never received an order. When I clearly have confirmation that they received it. I even took screen shots if needed. The door dash guy offered to order the pizza while he was there at wait but by that time I’ve already waited 40 mins now I would have to wait another 25 mins as they said it would take to make it then delivery time. I used to order often but they are so hit and miss in the kitchen you never know what you are going to get. But this by far is the most annoying thing ever. Alright for one they close down their Kitchen at 8 even though google says open to 12 that’s the bar. The pizza is open till 10 but closes down at 8 EVERY TIME I TRY AND ORDER. AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERSA THE PHONE.

I’m talking I could call every night for a month and maybe get someone one day a week if I was persistent and tried more then once

you try and get a proper menu and find pictures but just can’t end up buying what you think you want and it’s like Russian roulette. You never know what they’ll give you just shut up and pay the bill. Don’t dare try and order the same thing twice because I don’t even think the people making the food know the menu either.

They WILL 100% of the time defer you to a driving company AND THAT JUST WONT DO. If I’m calling you don’t expect me to try and figure out someone else’s website to go pick it up when you proclaim TO BE DELIVERY.

I wanted to thank everyone that was working at B's on Saturday night. I was hanging out with my friends, Fran, Shannon & Chad and somehow my cellphone just disappeared. I literally thought I was going crazy for a few minutes, but your crew were above awesome in regards to the ordeal. They lent me their cell phones to try to track it, looked for it behind the bar. The DJ even asked if someone had picked it up. I held out there until after 1 and on my I pad starting pinging it outside. Your crew offered to go outside with me as well and sure enough it was sitting outside in the snow between the sidewalk and the road. Someone picked it up and unloaded it outside.
