Sammy's Lounge — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

Nice little hole in the wall bar, needs more pool tables, karaoke night is fun but music selection could be better. Location is convenient, staff is friendly, sports friendly place, but best thing of all would have to be the absolutely majesticly amazing food!!! This is the kind of bar I could literally go to just for the food and to play pool. I don't even have to drink alcohol here to have a good time and have a great meal. I have been going here for almost 20 years and will continue to go here as long as it's still around! I would recommend maybe some more arcade games, although considering the type of crowd that frequents this place and the age range of the guests, I'm not entirely sure the addition of arcade games would get much use anyway. Oh yeah... And please start carrying a better selection of Brandy. Just about the only thing missing in regards to the alcohol selection! This is the closest to a Cheers bar as I have found in Cedar Rapids. It feels like family when you are there.
