I went to lunch at Starbucks on Edgewood and Blairsferry Rd Ne with my daughter today and we had Britney take our order. Britney was beyond rude, My daughter placed the order, and then I proceeded to tell Britney what I wanted and as I was talking to her she walked away (while I was still telling her what I wanted). Britney returned and asked if we wanted anything else, I asked Britney if she got my drink order. Britney said "You did not order anything", I told her I did tell you but you walked away while I was talking to you. Britney again said, "You did not order anything" (but with an attitude). I said, "Yes I did but, you did not hear me because you walked away as I was talking to you". (No "I'm sorry I did not mean to do that, or Sorry I was distracted and did not realize I did that") Instead, Britney said, "You did not order anything, I did not hear you, what do you want to drink"? I told her what I wanted and she gave us our total and immediately walked away again. While Britney was doing something else I placed the cash down by the register, when Britney came back she repeated the price (with an attitude of course) I said "Is right there" and pointed to the cash. Britney said "So, you can't hand it to me?" I replied "Is right there and she grabbed it (with attitude) then she grabbed the change and tossed it on the countertop and walked away. My daughter looked at me and said what is her deal? She is so argumentative. We proceeded to get our food at the other end and I asked another person who was the manager on duty, she said "I'll get her". Britney comes back out as the manager (I'm thinking, no way she is a manager) she said to the other girl with me in front, Who is it? What is it?. I said Is me, I just wanted to say that was a horrible customer service experience, you walked away as I was placing my order, missed half my order and you were argumentative about it. (at this point you would expect a different reaction, but no, not Britney) She responded, "I did not hear you, when I have these headphones is hard to hear, I was trying to get the food, do you prefer I don't get the food"? I said "I prefer you let me finish placing my order before you walk away", you walked away as I was talking to you. Britney once again was argumentative, and rude, she interrupted me as I was talking and said it was a misunderstanding. At that point, I raised my voice and told her there was no misunderstanding, you have no customer service skills, and I do not know how you are a manager here, or how you work here and we proceeded to walk away but not before getting her name and finding out that she was not a manager she is a supervisor. As I was telling my friends about my experience with Britney, they knew who I was talking about and said that Britney had been rude to...
Read moreI always go to this Starbucks because it's right next to my home, and normally I love it! But today when I went, I was "helped" by a girl named Kasey. I put helped in quotations because she never once greeted me, she just kind of starred at me until I said what I wanted. When we first came to the counter, she was washing dishes. We continued waiting at the counter for around 2 minutes before she walked over to us. She did not say a single word to me during our entire interaction, even when she was done making the drink, I said "thank you!" And she just starred at me again saying nothing. Kasey needs to work on her customer service skills. Normally I would...
Read moreThis is my favorite Starbucks. Megan is the sweetest barista ever and even knows my order when I walk in. Since it’s in the middle of a Hy-Vee you kind of have to expect that it’s going to be busy, but she always has my drink on time with the best attitude. I highly recommend this Starbucks spot to anyone! It’s a gem in this Hy-Vee especially when the other Starbucks’ can’t get...
