Placed an order that came $20.01 and I paid for it in cash, but I was short a penny as I haven't carried change since COVID. I had several other large bills $50.00 (s) and did not want to break a large bill for a penny, so I asked the cashier could the store could cover the single penny so I didn't have to carry a lot of change, and he could save his change and smaller bill for the rest of the weekend. He told me no as that was against store policy to discount food for lack of money. Now this struck me as odd and I initially felt petty and 1. started to cancel my order and wondered if losing a $20.01 order ( in the garbage for a penny) would prove my point. 2. walk out to my car and get the penny out of my care and make everyone in line wait as I strolled 40 yards to get my penny, but I ultimately 3. chose to pay for the order with a $50.00 bill. The clerk rolled his eyes and told the manager he needed change to break the " large" bill. The manager took the bill and checked to ensure it wasn't phoney (held it up in the light) left and came back with smaller bills and a roll of pennies. Now who won? The clerk who followed the company rules, the people behind me who had to witness the entire event +10 minutes and delay their "fast food" Jimmy Johns " Freaky Fast" experience, or me for attempting to teach a common sense lesson. I truly understand the company protecting their profits. If every customer needs a little help a penny here, a quarter there, " can I bring you $10 tomorrow" there has to be a line....but a penny!? Read moreThis location has gone downhill, over the last couple years One afternoon I ordered a sandwich and an unwhich for my husband for later and the unwich came with things we asked them not to put on the unwich, but was missing the actual ingredients that we requested. The following day I ordered another sandwich to be delivered and when I got my sandwich it did not have ingredients I asked for to include extra onions... I called to let them know and he said they will make a new one but wanted the old sandwich back. I sent the sandwich back and they delivered a new one. When I got the new one it had tomatoes on it in which I specifically said to delete as I have an allergy to tomatoes which was incorrect again and the sandwich still didn't have extra onions... I called back and the manager said there is nothing they are going to do for me. I asked for a refund and they refused. So now I have a sandwich I paid for and cant eat... I took off the tomatoes and made due. I then called the corporate number to get in touch with the owners to let them know the manager is unresponsive and rude and they said I would hear from the owner of the store. NO CALL EVER FROM THE OWNER and it has been a month, now I am resorting to a google review so all can know the experience I had with this store... DO NOT GO HERE! BOYCOTT...
Read moreDo not order delivery from this store. Ordered a couple of weeks ago and called at 1 hour from ordering to ask where the order (2 sandwiches and pre packaged chips and a cookie). I was told they only had 1 driver and would be out soon. Delivered 30 minutes later. I thought I would give them another chance in case it was just a one off issue. Called at 45 minutes and my 2 sandwiches and 1 cookie was still at the store. I canceled this time because they couldn’t tell me how long it would take to be picked up by the driver. I will never order from this store again. And before you suggest it, no it is not my responsibility to reach out to your store owner and complain. Maybe they should look at these reviews and realize the store is being run very poorly. By the way, I am not a complainer - this is the second review I have left for anything in my life.
UPDATE - strangely enough on the same day that the store issued my refund and I left this review, my credit card information was stolen and a slew of fraudulent charges were attempted, most of which were for restaurants- including one for $5K. Luckily my bank sent an alert and shut my card down and has reversed all of these charges. I am not saying they are related, but I also find the timing strange and I don’t believe in...
