I go to McDonalds 3 or 4 times a month. Breakfast only because their burgers are garbage. Not that their breakfast is very good either, but not as many options for a quick breakfast. I have only been to this particular McDonald's a few times, but each time was a bad experience. They have screwed up my order once before and today... so I think they got my order correct 1 of 3 times. And my orders are always straight forward, just one person, and never any special requests.
So anyway, this morning I just wanted something quick to eat before I work a rare mid day shift. This McDonalds is like many with 2 drive up lines to place order. I picked the inside lane. The other lane literally had cars going through 4 times faster. I arrived and was in line prior to another car that picked the outside lane, and that guy ordered, paid, received order and was long gone before I even was at the order kiosk. And it had nothing to do with a customer in front of me taking a long time to order. I had my window down so I could hear when the McDonalds employee began taking the order. The two cars in front of me and myself had to wait about 1 minute before anyone even began taking our order all the while watching the cars on the outside lane zip by. I brought this up to the cashier when I finally arrived to pay and she didn't say a word and just shook her head at me. I just said "yeah, I can tell you really don't care" and drove up to get my damn order.
So I got home with my food. I ordered a egg and sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. I open up my egg and sausage McMuffin only to find NO egg. I was so angry at this point that I threw the food in the bag and headed right back to McDonalds. I just wanted my money back and wanted to speak to someone there. It was a simple order and how on earth could they mess up an egg and sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. And I understand that errors happen, but as I said above, this was 2nd error out of 3 visits.
So I get back to the McDonalds and walk inside. I walked right up to the pick up counter and some woman asked how she could help me. I explained the messed up order and told her I just wanted my money back... all $3 and some change of it. No apology or anything from her. She just asked for my receipt and credit card which I gave to her. While she was crediting back my card, I was explaining the stupid drive through line. She just completely ignored me and didn't say a word. She handed me my card back and new receipt with the credit. Not a word out of her, not even an apology. You could tell right away that she just wanted to give me my money back and get me the f#&@ out there. God forbid anyone at this store provide any kind of customer service.
Anyway, I will not be returning to this McDonald's. They are incompetent and have zero customer service. I work in the hospitality industry so I know a few things about customer service. And I've had to deal with more than my fair share of upset customers. I wouldn't have a job if I treated my customers the way these incompetent rude employees at this McDonalds do. And they want $15 and hour?!?! What a joke... smh
By the way, the McDonalds near my work is much better than this one and I will be giving them a 4 star review. If I go to McDonald's, that's generally the one I...
Read moreI had pulled up and no one else was in the parking lot/drive thru, yet when 2 other cars pulled into the other lane they were both helped before me. Once I was asked for my order, the person repeated back incorrect items to me several times until I had to practically scream my order to the degree that people in the next parking lot were turning to see what was happening and then laughing. I then was asked, at the 2nd window to pull forward i would take them a minute to make our ice coffees. Once at the 3rd window, we waited 5 mins for the drinks, when they were finally brought, I told them we were missing our entire 2nd order. At which time I was told I was given all our food, I showed the person my receipt and was told it would be 5 more mins for him to verify we didnt get the order. He came back after that time and agreed that they did't give us the order, but asked, 'what part are you missing?'. To which I replied, "All of it." I could here the person (manager working the window) at the 2nd window (behind us) trying to give our food to the car behind us. The man was telling her it wasn't part of his order but she was INSISTING it was. I told the young man at our window, "she is trying to give them our food, will you please go back and get our order?!" Once he finally retrieved our food and beought it to our window, he stated, "they tried to give you your food but you drive past that window." I took my food, said thank you and pulled away. But, lets just try and figure out how his version of telling me it was MY FAULT that I didn't have my food. 1st) I ordered, 2nd) I stopped at 1st window-paid for BOTH orders and got both receipts, 3rd) Picked up food for 1st order and was told -'if you pull to the next window we will bring the rest of your drinks and food to you there.', 4th) pulled forward to 3rd window where I was A) I had all of both orders and then B) that it was MY fault for not having all my food and drinks!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡NEVER, EVEN IF STARVING WILLI EVER STOP...
Read moreGot here at 7. Waited 17 minutes to order. I get that, they were slammed. However, we were standing at the counter and the cashier completely ignored us and everyone else behind us, and was extremely rude Waited 20 minutes after that. Turns out they lost our order. Along with the 2 people who ordered before us and the 3 people who ordered after us. A woman and her daughter have been sitting st the counter for 15 minutes and have not been helped. Cashier was super rude to the elderly couple behind me. Got our food 45 minutes after walking in. 45 minutes, I assumed the food would be hot. I was wrong. It wasn't even warm. Asked to have it replaced. Cashier gets nasty and said it was fresh, handed her the boxes and said it wasn't. She grabs it and tosses it. Throws the bag of food down for the lady waiting and walks away. Yells "Ugh YES!" at her for asking if the food was hers. Still waiting on the hot food. It's been 10 minutes and no one is in the dining room.
Look, I get it, you're short staffed. But, being nasty with customers, getting orders wrong, handing out cold food to people who have been waiting for 40+ minutes, is unacceptable. I honestly want to ask your cashier if I can get her a cookie or a drink because she is running food out to people who are waiting on drive thru, taking orders, putting orders together, and handing them out. She is the only cashier here. Yes, she has been rude, but dang, what do you expect when you leave her all alone? I also haven't seen a manager in sight. I will be calling because it isn't fair to your cashier to be literally alone, and it isn't fair to your customers that she takes out her frustration and...
