Went through drive thru and paid $13 for two small pink drinks as a treat for the kiddos. As weāre pulling out of the parking lot I hear āWe forgot to say āno iceā.ā Kids are sitting there with full cups of ice and the drink is already gone. They canāt even reach the boba I paid the extra $1.25 for.
We were on our way somewhere so I stopped at another location to request a remake and was told thatās just how itās made, ānext time order a larger sizeā, and basically accused of trying scam them for free drinks. I ultimately called corporate and got a refund.
Iām writing this review because this isnāt the only issue. A few years ago they started making their Chai really watery. āThe trick is to ask for two shots!ā I get the caramel macchiato and itās 50% foam, so I have to remember to ask for no foam. Now I get the pink drink and I have to remember to ask for no ice.
Starbucks has gone from a fun treat on a girlsā day to a stressful experience, almost a game, where you have to remember to tell them how to make your drink correctly or youāre going to be disappointed and there are no redos because the staff is ājust trying to pay my billsā. Iām over it. I can go to McD for a mediocre drink at 1/3 the cost and better service. Good luck trying to sell $6 cups of ice during...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered through the drive through a Venti Iced Caramel macchiato with extra drizzle, itās a staple here. And very easy to make, itās majority milk. I had to repeat my order twice, they assumed I wanted it hot. So they already werenāt listening well. I often take pictures of my coffee show my friends etc. It was about 6:44pm and she handed me the iced macchiato and I at first glance could tell something was different about it but carried on because I had other errands to run. You can see a lighter colored syrup on the side of the cup which Iāve NEVER seen when ordering this drink of the past decade drinking it. It looks like someone didnāt want to start over so they tried covering up their mistake on one of the easier drinks to make there. It definitely tastes off and not the same. If I didnāt live farther down the street I would have gone back and complained in person considering they should have made it correctly in the first place. The pic on the left is how itās supposed to look when you stir it with the straw, the pic on the right is the one they messed up last night. I donāt want to go back to this location anymore seeing that they canāt do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in here for the first time tonight. In fact, up until this evening I had no idea this Starbucks even had indoor seating, believing instead that it was a drive-thru only.
It was definitely more spacious on the inside than I would have believed and it was fairly easy for me to find a seat with a plug so I could use their wifi and my laptop. And there's where the positive experience ended.
The wifi was abysmal. Upon connecting, the wifi informed me I was connecting to Google Starbucks. If it was indeed "Google Starbucks" it was the worst experience I've ever had at one of these. For nearly an hour I tried getting a wifi signal that topped 1MB up or down. Instead, I was saddled with far slower speeds - speeds so slow, in fact, that my web pages crashed instead of opening.
I actually ended up leaving and going to a Starbucks further down the road so I could actually accomplish something.
Unfortunately, this late in the evening I don't like to drink caffeine, so I didn't order anything. I have no idea how the drinks and orders come out or how the customer service is. The parking...
