Wanna Poke & Ramen — Restaurant in Centennial

How did I miss this place? Ramen and rice bowls are two of my favorite fast food alternatives and I've always been disappointed that I have to take a long drive to find a place that's focused on them. The stuff you get in regular restaurants isn't bad but not the same.

So was browsing around and then I come across this location that's just a few minutes of my house. Tried the Shio Ramen last night and it was very good! I'm so looking forward to going back and trying out the some of the other options.

The restaurant itself is not all that large but it's very clean. The staff was nice but one of them was fairly new and had to keep referring to the instructions for whatever she was making. It looks like the Poke bowls are made up front while the ramen and other hot dishes are made in the back.

I went to this restaurant on a delivery, and the food looked so good, I had to go back! While picking up the delivery, service was very fast, which I appreciated, because time is money while running orders. They pack everything perfectly in watertight containers and then a paper bag, perfect for delivering in my hotbag. Upon my return for MY food, service was equally as fast and very friendly. I ordered off menu, wanting a special combination of unagi, scallops, and tofu, and she helped me customize it just the way I wanted! I took it to go, and ate half at home, which was all I could eat. The portions are quite large. The flavors were fantastic, all the food and fish looked very fresh. Personally, poke sounds like an overpriced and indulgent, so I was skeptical I would like this place. It turned out really good though! I got their mixed spicy seafood bowl, which also had tofu, with the spicy mayo sauce. It was very good. You get a lot of fun toppings and proteins, so I didn’t feel gipped. My friend got the sesame sauce, which I think is even better, so I recommend getting that on yours.

The only problem I had was that I used the BeyondMenu website/app to order. It said it was estimated to be ready in ten minutes, but when I got there then, they were not even aware I had placed an order until one of them looked at their smartphone. I was put off by that.
