My family has been coming to the Sunset since the early '90's.(3 generations) No More. NEVER coming back. 2 nights in a row I order a crispy chicken wrap withOUT Buffalo sauce. Last night Dee was very apologetic and offered to remove it from my tab, instead we agreed to take a beer off my tab. Tonight, it happens again! Bufalo sauce overwhelming the chicken wrap. We ordered 2 sides of ranch dressing. Got 3. Billed for 2 =$2.00. I requested to the waitress they at least remove the $2.00 for the sides of ranch for screwing the order up again. She said "we charge for sides of ranch and you ordered them." I replied with "I also was specific about NO BUFALO sauce" and, at the time of ordering, she said "they'd put it on the side. DID NOT PUT IT ON THE SIDE." So, we eat here several times a month spend between $500 & $800/month. The mgmt. should fix the communication between wait staff and the kitchen. Then, help your waitress understand the value of customers spending between $2,500 to $4,500/yr. YOU SCREWED THE ORDER UP 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW. BUT for $2.00 lost good customers who previously gave great reviews with Chrissy, Keri and the crew. Never had an issue until this...
Read moreDisappointed. For starters, I went here because of the "view." However, upon arrival it was clear that any view from the patio would be obstructed by the huge tree next to it. The menu was standard bar food. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, a chicken fingers meal w/sweet potato fries), and a reuben w/tater tots. We were served our meals and waited on the fried pickles. When we were halfway done with our meals, I went to locate our server to cancel the fried pickles. She apologized and said she would take it off the bill. She did remove the charge, as well as still provide the fried pickles, to her credit. The chicken fingers were as dull as could be. A few flat, not very moist, chicken planks. The sweet potato fries may have been the best part of the whole experience. The reuben was lacking in meat, and what was there was cut too thick to be enjoyable. It was served luke warm and the tater tots were no better than the kind you get in a grocery store freezer. Sadly, the only redeeming quality I found here was the person who waited on us. Didn't get her name, but she was fairly tattooed, with a blonde ponytail. She was the only thing that made the...
Read moreHorrible! Worst bar/restaurant experience we've had in years. Service was horrible. Had to ask and ask again for everything. Took 20 to 25 minutes to flag the waitress down do order food after she dropped off menus and got our beer order. And this was on a Sunday at around 4:30. Waitress never once followed up to see if we needed anything and when I stepped to the bar to get some extra condiments and some tortilla chips for my wife, she got visibly pissed. Trust me when I say I was very nice about it. I'm 50 years old and I always error on the side of letting things go. So when she finally brought the condiments she literally dumped them on the table without making eye contact. The wife had to flag her down again to get the tortilla chips and she literally turned and walked away from the table. Will never step foot in...
