We came here by pure chance, we were going to review Big Bill's Pizza next door for our podcast but they were closed for Superbowl Sunday.
The atmosphere wasn't what you would want for a dining experience. The fish tank looked like it needed to be cleaned, I assume the owner's kids were lounging around upfront one looked to be doing homework while the other playing a video game. Near the back of the restrooms, it looked like two kitchen staff members were lounging around in a booth. Now I guess this could be explained away since it was Superbowl Sunday around 4:45 pm and we were the only patrons dining in.
As for the food, I ordered the sriracha beef with fried rice. I will first start by saying DO NOT pay the $1 surcharge for fried rice, there were no peas, carrots, and only 1 tiny piece of egg in it, just go with steamed rice or brown rice. That being said the food was incredible the beef had great flavor and was one of the better Asian dishes I have eaten in a long time.
My podcast co-host & friend said it was the best sesame chicken he had in like 20 years and we were both surprised by the pineapple dessert boat after the meal which tasted phenomenal.
I wish the place was a bit more modern and flashy with no one lounging around to be a more date-worthy restaurant. The bottom line is great food, the atmosphere could be improved, and great service, I will definitely go back but I won't be...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service! My wife and kids and I decided to go sit down there for once since delivery usually takes about an hour or so. So we figured eating there would be much quicker. We couldn't have been more wrong. We got there and were told to sit wherever we would like (that's how dead it was). One of the waitresses came over right away and got my kids drinks and my wife and I water. We looked over the menu for a few minutes before we decided on what we wanted. 5 minutes went by and she hadn't returned yet and then 10 minutes then 20. I looked around and they are all just standing around one guy was on his phone the others were just talking not doing anything. So finally I said somewhat loudly "can we get some help over here" at this point my kids are getting cranky and finally someone came over and took our order. It took almost an hour just to get our food. We needed to make another order to go and that came out within 15 minutes. Their food is great but service at the restaurant is absolutely terrible. I will never sit down...

This place has a lot going on. Chinese, Japanese, and Thai menu options. If you know Asian food, the three all have distinctly different flavor profiles. So initially I was a bit hesitant, However in my search for some new go-to Thai spots near home, I stopped by for an early dinner.
First, price to portion ratio is great, the friendly wait staff makes you feel welcome, and the restaurant is open and cleaner than many of the others I’ve been to in the area.
The food however, was a bit underwhelming. The noodles used in pad se ew and drunken noodles are the dry kind—flash boiled so it had a rigidity that felt undercooked. The hint of cheap soy sauce and the thin runny sauce in the noodles dish made the entree not memorable.
The Thai food here Solidly earned its stars but three is...
