Disappointed. We ordered and were the only ones in the drive thru. We always expect a wait since they are NOT fast but the wait this time was 23 minutes once we got the window. Then the price was definately abnormally expensive. Once we reviewed the receipt we see they charged for the extra sour cream and guac. Now I'm not crazy, I understand these items are typically more but we asked that they were swapped out with their other two sides so really aren't "extra". And even if I understanding guac is more expensive than their Pico is, THREE dollars per order is a little dramatic. the receipt says for a"half pint additional side" this spoonful is not a half pint. This 8 dollar fry order costed 13 bucks. 🙄. I'll gladly be driving a little farther to get Tacos Rápidos.

I don't know why keep coming back here. Constantly disappointed with the quality of the food. Ordered the chicharron burrito. When I asked the lady, "what comes with it?" She said "green chili and pico de gallo." Me: "ok what's in it?".... "Green chili and pico de gallo...." Needless to say the green chili spilled out because it's watery. 🤢 I should have just spent my $6 @tacohell. Updated 5/8/21 Usually I will get the egg and chorizo or sausage breakfast burrito without potatoes in it. It is a big burrito and two people can share it. Today I got egg potato and cheese with green chili inside. And it was all old potatoes! Never getting this again. Come on Tatas get it together!

The first time I went here I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito. The only thing in my burrito was chorizo. Okay…people make mistakes…no biggie…I’ll give them a second chance. Second time I visit I order the supreme quesadilla. When I opened up the container the first thing I noticed was a pill to liquid in the bottom. I attempted to pick the quesadilla up to eat it and it literally started falling apart on my. Pictured below. I ended up having to throw the thing away. My son ordered just a regular chicken quesadilla and had the same problem. Definitely won’t be giving a third try or recommending.

I went to TaTas burritos for the second time today. This review has to be broken into two parts. First the food; having just moved here from San Diego I've been in search of a good Mexican restaurant. This place is decent. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good. The street tacos are good if you don't actually know what a street taco is. Their "TaTa's Burrito" was good although mostly packed with refried beans to take up space. The tortillas they use are obviously store bought so that lowers the quality and authenticity of the food quite a bit. But considering we are in the middle of Colorado this is a fairly decent place. Just off the taste of food I would give this place 3 stars Oh don't get the chips and guacamole. The serving size is pathetic for the price.

Now the service.... or lack there of. While driving through the drive through the guy on the mic was extremely rude. He is impatient. When I ordered the street tacos his response was "steak." It wasn't until the third time he said it that I realized it was a question and not a statement and he was asking if I wanted steak or another type of meat. As I was ordering for my whole family I had several items to order. After each item he cut me off and said "is that it?" Not finding the side of chips I asked if they had chips and salsa or chips and guacamole. His response, "which one?" After getting through the ordering I went to the window. He took my card without making eye contact or saying anything. He was one of the rudest restaurant workers I've met in a while. The same guy was working the window and acted the same both times. So this is not an isolated incident, this is just how they do business here. Based off the service I would give this place one star. So I met in the middle and gave two stars.

All in all it's not a terrible place to get Mexican. But if I find a place within a decent drive that meets the quality and has any sort of customer service I will go...

I had to change my rating today I go here all the time but today was the worst experience I have had with them. I wasn't feeling like cooking tonight so on my husbands way home from work I asked him to stop at tatas he ordered the carne asada fries an adobada birrito and 3 rolled tacos with no tomatoes. Everything was fine except the rolled tacos . First the box had 2 holes in it like it was melted in the microwave it had tomatoes and the guacamole on the tacos was brown. When I called to tell them Eduardo the manager said he was sorry but if I wanted to come back and he would remake them for me. My husband has just got in the shower and I wasn't feeling well so I asked since I go there all the time if I cold just get a credit for the next time I go. Eduardo said that they don't do credits because they make mistakes all the time so they don't do credits any more. How are you going to tell a regular customer that you make mistakes all the time. Are employees that careless that they just do whatever they want and that's that. I'm sorry I worked at a taco shop right after high school and we got in trouble when food was retur I guess management and or owners don't care about customer satisfaction. I use to love this place after moving here this is the closest to CA Mexican food I found close to my house. Guess I'll have to find...

So to be honest, We ate from here when we moved to the neighborhood in 2018 and for the life of me, I can't remember why we thought it was subpar. A friend of mine told me to try it again, so I ordered the Carnitas Quesadilla.

I was amazed. Flavorful, good portions. I ate it and can't remember why we didn't follow our normal, "Give it two tries rule".

This is in my top three now for Mexican Restaurants. The other two, like this one, taste authentic...plus Tatas has a good sized menu. Which was fine, because I had time to read it. When I came in, it took five or six minutes to be noticed at the counter. The gentleman apologied and said, "I'm so sorry, the bell usually rings and we hear it". I chuckled and said, "Hard to to that when the doors were propped open" as I looked at them. He apologized and said they were getting a delivery, which was true, so I didn't hold that against them.

I'll definitely be back. I want to try thier breakfast burrito. They have large shoes to fill on that since I go to the same spot religiously and glorify it to my friends. But from what I just had, if it's half as good as that quesadilla, I don't think I'll be...
