Mr. Tropical Smoothie Owner how long are you going to allow this horrible customer service to continue at the Central, La location? Recently I visited the Central location, ordered the âOHANA BREEZE SMOOTHIE and AVOCOLADA SMOOTHIE. Well the âOhana Breeze was horrible as if was missing an ingredient. I went in to get a replacement smoothie. The young man at the front counter threw the smoothie away and was preparing to make me a replacement smoothie until someone from the back explained that was against their policy. They were not able to give me a replacement smoothie or a refund. The manager was not on site but on the phone with the staff instructing them what to tell me. The manager refused to have a conversation with me but instructed staff to get my number and she was going to contact me later. I was not willing nor did I think it was appropriate to leave the store without a $10 smoothie refund or replacement. The manager doesnât know how to manage and the staff is rude.    Read moreI recently visited Tropical Smoothie and was utterly disappointed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. I was disregarded and treated as if my business didn't matter.
The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the customers. When I tried to place my order, I was met with impatience and a total lack of courtesy. It felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there.
To make matters worse, the smoothie I received was subpar at best. It was poorly blended and lacked any semblance of freshness. It's a shame because I had heard decent things about this place, but after this experience, I will never be back.
Save yourself the frustration and find another smoothie spot that actually values its customers. This is by far the most disappointed I have been in years after trying to eat out.    Read moreI heard good things about Tropical Smoothie so I decided to try it out on my way home. Little did I know that I chose the worst location. When I tried to place my order I felt as though I was being rushed and then when I asked what sides they offered I got a nasty attitude. After my order was placed it took over fifteen minutes for one wrap that was ok at best. They also donât care how their wraps are assembled and donât even attempt quality control; as I had a large piece of the bottom stalk of lettuce jammed in the middle of the wrap. Iâd expect a wait like that if a business was slammed during a lunch or dinner rush but when I went, around 1pm, they were dead.
