Tried for a second time - I didn't think it could get worse, only better, right? I was wrong. Asked to sit outside - service sucked, again. Didn't bring out whole order together, again. Forgot my son's food this time. So me & the hubs were done eating and our son sat there another 20 min waiting for his food. We don't expect anything good from this place. Twice is not the charm. We probably won't be back anytime soon until they can get it running right and will stick with Chili's on Millerville - they've got their stuff together.
They have a long way to go. Went for lunch today and it was a disaster. Got our drinks and appetizer right . My husband's order was wrong, then took so long to correct we had to leave - they boxed it up to go when they were bringing the corrected order - and it is still wrong. I got my food and it was right, but the broccoli was gross. My son ordered the sliders, they came out wrong, sent back, then took so so so long to get the corrected order. All they had to do was add cheese.
Check was wrong. Had to do a refund. Disaster from beginning of that hour and 30 min until the end. Not too sure we'll be back anytime soon - until they get their stuff together.

Read moreI - we have eaten at Walk-on's too many times to count - Denham Springs, Corporate Blvd BR - Brusly/Addis - LSU - never a bad experience - on 8/22/25 we had a party of 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 4 ( Central Location ) - we ordered 1 order of cheese logs and the sampler to start - the logs were not cooked fully and the sliders were extremely pink - the atmosphere was extremely loud - not sure why - and the AC vent was blowing on our section cold - the entire section actually complained about the temperature - the food took almost 50 minutes to come out - (other parties of the same size seated after us were receiving food - with similar orders) and was below the usual Walk-ons standards - we had quesadillas - hickory burger - child's shrimp and catfish - zydeco salad and shrimp and grits - server and manager were extremely professional and completely understood the situation - they did not make excuses - and provided comp coupons for our next visit - we seem to think being a Friday night - the rush may have caught the kitchen staff off guard - and caused a lot of the issue - or maybe kitchen staff just needs more experience. This experience does not change our overall satisfaction of Walk-ons and it will continue to be a regular go...
Read moreMy order was not prepared correctly. I ordered salmon with double steamed broccoli and asked to add cheese. When my plate arrived, it had extra parmesan, which I did not request. I wasn’t asked what kind of cheese I wanted, and I assumed it would be the usual shredded cheese that other locations have used when I made this same request.
When I pointed out the mistake, I was told the broccoli couldn’t be taken back to the kitchen since it had already touched the table, and that cheese would just be brought for me to stir in. While I waited, my salmon sat getting cold. By the time the cheese arrived, the broccoli was already too cold for it to melt or stir in properly.
It took another 15 minutes to bring out fresh broccoli with the cheese melted in. At that point, my salmon was completely cold, and I obviously didn’t want to eat it alone while waiting for the rest of my food.
The manager eventually brought out the corrected broccoli. I was visibly upset, and when she asked if I wanted boxes, I said yes, because my food was now too cold to enjoy. She simply said “OK” and...
