A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Centralia

Went through with my wife around 730 on Halloween. The associate working the drive through was surprisingly condescending and rude. For someone who's in customer service, I honestly can't believe she spoke to us the way she did. At the window, there was a car in front of us still waiting for their food and one car behind us. She told us it would be a 2 minute wait on the fries, I said no problem..... but then to my astonishment, she asked me to move my full truck out of the way and go park while I wait the 2 minutes. How ridiculous is it to make the vehicle in the middle to move.... and she was very rude telling me "there were other customers to help"..... there was literally 1 car behind us. For literally only having 3 customers, I'm not sure how they were backed up like that. Long story short, I refused to move because I wasn't comfortable squeezing out of there like that. I asked for a refund and she grew more angry because she couldn't figure out how to refund the money onto my card and just gave me cash. She couldn't have been any more rude if she spit at us. I told her she really needs to work on her customer service and her reply was "yea ok, bye." Lol ...

We order 4 large rootbeer floats and the entire experience the worker acted confused. We aren't told what drinks are what when half are supposed to be diet and as soon as he sets them in the drink carrier they are overflowing and literally dripping off the cup onto the ground and when asked why they are overflowing to such an extent he replies with, "they're floats. The soda just does that, they always overflow..." :0 what?? They don't just overflow, we've gotten them totallyfune before. Dude, we had to ask for napkins cause he just stood there waiting for us to go away and didn't see an issue with rootbeer covering our seats. I would have just preferred that instead of not doing anything he would have waited and cleaned up the cups or even try to solve the problem instead of waiting for us to do it. The floats were fine and for 2 dollars total recommend but maybe from a different...

A&W is my favorite fast food restaurant! They have the best tasting burgers and the best soft serve ice cream!🍦 A&W soft serve ice cream is WAY BETTER than Dairy Queen ice cream! If i could buy A&W soft serve mix i guarentee i would go spend thousands of dollars on a soft serve ice cream machine just to have it all the time! Lol I really wish A&W restaurants were around everywhere like they use to be, unfortunately they are getting harder to find becoming few and far between. I hope someday A&W can make a comeback and be in every city and town and with the employees coming out on there roller skates wth your food and amazing rootbeer floats! Show sonic fast food restaurants how its done...
