My visit today was absolutely horrendous. I don't even want to talk about it but it not only affected me by wasting my time and my bottom dollar, it affected one of my customers. There little 7 year old girl is just a doll. She ran outside waiving and thanking me for bringing them there food. It put such a smile on my face and warmed my heart. See I have 14 grandchildren and It's been a few years since I've seen any of them. They don't live around here and I'm not really able to take the time or spend the money since my accident. I waited and watched six or seven customer's walk in after I did get there orders and leave. I believe in forgiveness and second chances. We all have our off day's. This time it wasn't my off day, it was the entire crew working the counter and drive up. I'm sorry I felt that this review was warranted, believe me, I love you all and it's another day. Although I'm absolutely sure it wasn't personal, it felt like it to me. Knowing that I was waiting for my orders and watching you put two drinks on the counter and that completing my order...you said nothing. I was a foot away. I waited for another 5 minutes before I was pretty upset with being ignored and asked you what are we needing to finish my order. Well thanks for looking through everything to make sure we weren't waiting for anything. NEW REVIEW 10/04/2021..As an independent contractor/agent for Door Dash Corp. It's my discretion when, where, and/or if I except or refer a delivery request. I'm very excited and honored to have been selected Dasher of the month for the fourth consecutive month in a row. The reward for such an honor is I don't have to fit into a schedule, I decide if I want to go to work and login to the dash app. I get first look at every order and make my decision to except, or pass. The honor is given based on outstanding work ethics, time of completing the order, lol...lol...no accidents like a dropped or spilled product, and customer feedback's. The merchants around Thurston county.. and a few outside counties as well are getting to know me pretty well I think.. It's a job for me to get out and do this at all. I always enter the merchants place of business if applicable but I chose the drive thru because I was in pretty rough condition. I'd worked 6 hrs already and had just received the KFC order after traversing quite a steep two story stairway. Beings I'm an employee of agent for Door Dash if the restaurant is open for inside dining it's what I do whenever possible. She...the window attendant, after asking my order told me I had to come inside. I explained right away why I chose not to. And pulled up, stated the code for the order and was asked to pull ahead. They were still working on my order. I'm going to get to the point now, by my previous review this wasn't my first bad contact with the KFC on Main St. in Centralia. There were several and because I'm not happy doesn't mean I'm going to rub anyone in the mud. So this time I will say it's this particular KFC that's been offensive everytime, to me at least. I sat there, listening to Josh Turner and passed the time with micky. I watched one..two three four cars order, drive up, receive there order and drive away. Then I started, 🤔 thinking. I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to sensor that. Five Six Seven car's had now completed their business and drove away. I grabbed my cane and went inside. If you're one of the three customers inside the store I apologize if you were offended in any way. I asked, in the strong baritone voice can you tell me where my door dash order is. Read moreBeen getting chicken here all my life, even before it also became an A&W. Was always Grandma's favorite. Unfortunately, the quality seems to be a far cry from what it used to be. My mom recommended the new chicken sandwiches and I thought that sounded great. Her and dad got two classic chicken sandwiches, I got the spicy. Ironically enough, the lit billboard on the sign says that these chicken sandwiches are cooked to order, however the chicken fillet on my sandwich was SOOOOOOO old! It was very obvious that it had been sitting in a warming cabinet for hours. The edges were rock hard all the way around. Mom and dad didn't say anything about theirs, I just hope my dad was able to gnaw through his sandwich being that he has dentures. Just completely unacceptable, especially when the main advertising point on the lit up billboard says the chicken is cooked to order because my sandwich absolutely was not. Very disappointed in the sandwich. Mom and I did however get blended floats that were pretty darn good. Kinda hard to mess...
Read morePlaced a $50 order to take home, when we got home missing 5 pieces of chicken and 2 large sides, called talked to a "manager" was apologetic and wanted to know if I could return immediately, I explained they are about an hour away and I we would need to return another day. She told me no problem sh would write it in the book and we could pick it up anytime. This was on Sat. Returned after work on Sunday (about 9:15) was told by the "manager" we don't replace orders this late and we are closing costs early. So we return before work on Tuesday, dealing again with the male "manager" that has no customer service skills, he advises us he has no time to look in the book from Saturday. Gives us 4 pieces of chicken and 2 small sides, (should have been 5 pieces of chicken and 2 large sides) and tells us he is done dealing with us and just take it and be happy.
