Evergreen Playhouse — Attraction in Centralia

I was hooked from the start! I'm not a big live entertainment fan so I wasn't sure how I was going to like it. The tickets were only $10 and they sell beer and wine so why not? We saw Grease and loved it! We bought season tickets we loved it so much. The last play we saw, It's a wonderful life, was full when we got there. We were put on a waiting list. We didn't know we could make reservations. We were able to get in , phew!And I cried at the end. Again, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because I've never been able to make it thru the movie. This small town community theater is a gem. They offer 6 full Productions a year. Their offerings range from dramas, Mysteries, musicals, comedies, and more. The prices are incredibly reasonable usually between 12 and $15 without any discounts. They have a concession area with popcorn, candy, soda, and even beer and wine. All the concessions can be brought in and enjoyed during the show. It's amazing to see how much local talent there is. Tonight we had the luxury of watching The Secret Garden at the Evergreen Playhouse. I have to say they did great! The lead character a young girl was doing her best to stifle her cough has she performed. I was so proud of her! Overall an absolute great experience. My only recommendation would be a little bit more work on their sound distribution. There were times during the performance that I was having a difficult time hearing the thespians over the music.
