Straw Hat Pizza — Restaurant in Cerritos

O 🌟! This used to be our favorite pizza place for years! Where we used to celebrate birthdays, get together with friends and family and even the staff was like family to us, but, sadly not anymore. The pizza quality and salad it's not great as it used to be and customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!! Ever since they changed owners and staff this place hasn't been the same. It kept getting worst every time, if not understaff, messing our orders. I was there a few days ago and I believe her name is Michelle or Melissa, hard to tell because she didn't have a name badge, another worker there told me her name (chubby girl with tattoos, with a miserable look in her face that speak louder "I hate my job" kept rolling her eyes for every order she took and the questions asked. Why do they hire people like this? She threw our pizza in the table without asking if we needed plates or stuff for our pizza. The other customers were asking how she was doing because she looked unhappy, so I wasn't the only person in my party to noticed that.. I called explaining the manager the horrible experience and he didn't seem to care much either. It's sad that because of these careless new people working at this place that the experiences and food was nothing like before. I hope this will change, meanwhile, I don't think we will continue supporting this pizza place, but we will take the great...

My issue was the lady at cashier with no eyebrows who said she was the manager I walked to the cashier desk and asked if I could have my wings replaced because they were burned in certain areas and dry . She looks at me and says what’s wrong with them so I had to point out they’re burned and overcooked I asked if was the same price as boneless but what I meant to ask was bone in and she says with a smirk those are boneless so then she takes the plate and tells the workers she said they’re burned and overcooked with an attitude. Once I felt that attitude I asked if shes the manger and just says yes I’m ask are you the owner or juts the manger she pints at a guy and says that’s the owner like if she doesn’t care about my concern. I tell one of the guys she shouldn’t have an attitude if I have an issue with the food and she says I didn’t have an attitude. Definitely needs to be trained in customer service and management. I used to come here when I was little. I am here visiting from Texas now as an adult. I had been craving straw hat not only because of the pizza being amazing but because of the memories I had here. I am pretty put off and disappointed of how my bf who I bragged about this place to was talked to by aaron when he asked for water not being familiar with this place and when I asked for another ranch from Aaron our person who delivered our pizza to our table and his mannerisms asking for the napkin box and the passive aggressiveness he conducted himself with was not only bad taste but definitely not the behavior of someone that should be in service industry. I have years of serving and bartending behind me and my bad days or emotions were required to be left at the door of the business I represented. Apparently that's vastly different of an expectation here. The pizza was amazing we had the cali chicken bacon ranch pizza I will not be back....
