Went to celebrate for a birthday dinner on a Monday night and this place is the real deal. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, you definitely want to add to this to the list of restaurants to try. It was not too busy at all, so we were able to be seated quickly and were greeted upon entry. The drinks are served strong and you have the option to choose what size. I believe the cheapest drink was like $12 up to like $30 dependent upon what you prefer and how much liquor you want 😉 I order a drink with just the house tequila and I was buzzed, but if you like top shelf make it happen. Food came out in a reasonable time. We were provided chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. Our drinks came from the bar so maybe 5 minutes after ordering we received them. We order the nachos with all the meats. Shrimp fajitas, and a flank steak with some sort of soup (bean mixture with meat maybe sausage added) No complaints at all regarding how food tasted, it was hot and the shrimp were actually seasoned. We could asked any server for help and they all responded friendly and eager to assist. Did have to pay $1.00 for sour cream other than no issues at all. our bill was like $150, for 3 drinks and 3 entrees. The atmosphere was welcoming, music was played through the speakers and at one point live music performances close to mariachi with a hohner and guitar was used as they walked around the restaurant entertaining...
Read moreI really had high hopes. I wanted to eat all day for this place and ended up going somewhere else after!
The food was cold and had lacked flavor.
The chips and salsa was the worst I've ever had. Beans horrible, I left my food there didn't even eat it plus if you asked for anything you weren't going to get it for another 30 minutes.
The service was beyond slow. However, they were super friendly but just all over the place.
We never received our drinks after waiting 3 hours. However, everyone that came after us got there's I watched for almost 2 hours others being served efficiently.
This was the worst experience for Mexican I've ever had. I definitely have had better tasting food. This did not satisfy my Mexico craving at all. Now the tacos are decent, but lots of cilantro and onions make anything better.
Parking limited.
One person making drinks.
Was here 3 hours never received drinks!
I had high hopes for this place that is definitely overrated on social media and here. I never give to many bad reviews but when I do it's the truth.
Also, watch your check and debit for days after.
Will NOT return...
Read moreWe'd driven by this place several times and finally stopped in for dinner last night. On a Friday night, the vibe was lively and bustling and the music loud. Our server was Chuy and he was excellent! He was so friendly and seemed to genuinely care how we liked the food - which we loved! We both had jumbo frozen margaritas and they were delicious. We both had a pastor taco - It was very good, however I would have liked to have a bit more of a pineapple flavor. I really liked the handmaid tortilla option because they're always so much better and hold up the taco better. The chicken tinga tostada was absolutely delicious and my husband really really loved the chorizo gordita. They had a lot of things on the menu I would like to go back and try. They gave us two bottles of house sauces for our tacos, I was so happy to see one of them was that creamy light green sauce that I love so much - salsa Verde de aguacate. I was tempted to take the whole bottle of it home haha. For real though, that sauce is so good. We will definitely be...
