Las Tortas Locas — Restaurant in Chamblee

My second time coming back because I actually enjoyed the food and wanted to give them another chance…both times the staff was incredibly rude and blew me off. I don’t speak the greatest Spanish but it gets me by, this last time the cashier waved me off like I was an inconvenience and then half heartedly asked the kitchen if anyone spoke English. They all shared a laugh and some even came out to see who needed the translation. I understand language barriers and have no problem with that but the staff was so disrespectful BOTH times that I’ll more than likely not be spending anymore money at any of their locations. Posting here because both visits were months apart so they don’t care much to change the problem.

DON'T EAT HERE. CHOOSE ANOTHER LOCATION!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would! Generally I'd visit the Peachtree Indl by Shell or off Jimmy Carter in Norcross by the laundromat. They're always on point. But I decided to try this location. Queso was watery and flavorless. The chicken burritos, beans and rice were flavorless. The rice and burritos were very dry. The chips were old and smelled old. Everything was bland. The woman on the phone spoke no English and my order was totally wrong when I arrived. Don't take my order if you don't understand. I'm so disappointed we spent money that we'll never get back. I should've just made it at home myself smh. Put some respect on the Las Tortas brand or close up. It's disrespectful to the other locations that actually put effort into serving...

The food is always amazing here, and I've never had bad service. They do, however, have zero covid precautions. We went yesterday hoping to get some takeout, and the place had everyone packed in there like sardines with just a handful of people wearing masks. I wish I would have taken pictures but honestly I was just so shocked it completely slipped my mind. It was truly the biggest enclosed crowd I've seen during covid era. We ended up going to El Rey Del Taco because at least there they had an ordering window from where I can order safely. To the managers, please get this fixed.
