Tienda Y Taqueria — Restaurant in Chamblee

Tienda is a small Mexican grocery store with a small halal restaurant inside with a limited menu. There were two ladies working . One in the kitchen and one at the front counter. The food was ok close to Authentic to the region from where they belong to. The place was very clean and a clean bathroom too. My advice to the owner or the manager would be to give a choice of flour tortillas or corn tortillas for the choice of tortillas for their food choices. Not many people like corn tortillas as it takes time to adapt to that. Also some home made salasa and chips would be really good as a starter while waiting for the food to be prepared and served. Tacos are my favorite food, and I am not able to share them with my friends because there are not enough halal restaurants. So recently me and my best friend have been on the hunt for multi-cultural halal foods.This place is a Muslim-Bengali owned establishment. The owner is incredibly friendly and service was very good and fast. We got the carne asada tacos. The tacos were authentic, fresh and made in front of us. These were definitely one of the best tacos I've had, and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to return here in the future. I visited here with my wife and other family. The establishment is family owned, super clean, and offers a wide variety of goods. There is a taqueria in the back that offers fresh homemade food. The tortillas and cheese are made in house, the meat is fresh. Food was a 10/10 and priced incredibly well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone in the area.

We ordered tacos and a quesadilla. The cheese in the quesadilla was amazing. Tacos were a good portion and taste. The salsa was fresh and definitely had a kick to it.
