Owner obviously doesn't care at all due to absence of replies to respond to those who had an issue. I leave this more as a warning to others. Went through drive-thru. Yes. Over 2 years later and the dining room is still shut down. Regardless if Covid or staffing issues are to blame. When are we going to move on???
Having a face to face conversation might actually have helped to curtail or even eliminate the issue I had through a dime store intercom system here in the 21st century!!!??
I gave order not once but twice. To better clarify this is a Wendy's so as many of you know they severely limit the condiments on anything. PORTION CONTROL IS PARAMOUNT !!! However this is becoming more commonplace in all fast food joints. They may place a single strand of onion, 1 "maybe 2" pickle chips and a piece of lettuce the size of a half dollar on the burger. (Just enough to say there's some on there. That's why my order was for extra pickle and extra onion (So it would actually have an ample amount on it) and no tomato as I do not care for them.
Order taker got it wrong after giving order twice. Asked for receipt initially. Didn't receive that either. Went back after driving back to nearby jobsite.
I got the receipt and the manager lady with psychedelic hair was more interested in voicing her complaint to me that they were not at fault. Because they prepared the burger as instructed on the INCORRECT receipt. How nice. BUT ITS WRONG. SO YES..... YOU SCREWED UP. It doesn't matter who goofed. Someone did. Learn from it. But no. They probably cussed me as I drove off. I won't be back here. Thats for sure. It takes a long time to cultivate a good clientele and seconds to lose them. They will never learn because in their mind they are perfect and don't want to accept blame for anything.
What difference does it make who screwed up. You ALL failed as a team effort. The order taker messed up. Not intentional I know. But these people rarely pay attention. Trust me. I travel a great deal in business and unfortunately have to dine at places like this. That is soon to change. Prices are so high now I will brown bag it or go to an upscale (sit down) restaurant which is only a few bucks higher and receive a better meal and a better experience
This is why Wendy's, Burger King and McDonalds and many others will NEVER compare to the customer service and professionalism of any Chick Fil A. They always have to argue some insane point to a customer or charge 25 cents to a person for an extra dipping sauce when they just paid almost 10 buck for a meal with very little care or condiments on their sandwich. Receive less than they bargained for and had to go back for a rude confrontation with a manager that SHOULD have been more interested in satisfying their customer than arguing some irrelevant point.
I've been here before. Forgotten items is a big thing here. Read other reviews. Don't waste your time. Wonder they are even still in business. Seriously. And most all Wendy's have the rudest staff of any restaurants. 59 years old. Speak fron experience. Sad but true. Been like that for 20 years or more.
CFA would have offered to remake the entire sandwich, apologized for the error (regardless of who made it) and retained the customer. Not Wendy's. They want to berate the customer for coming back with an issue. Don't waste your money and time. Go down the street and spend your hard earned money somewhere else where you're actually appreciated.
Cook Out gives an entire slice of onion, not one single strand. Several pickles and far more in the way of ketchup and other condiments and for half the cost. Go see for yourself. Go find them. Don't allow others to mistreat you when you...
Read moreThe service here is absolute garbage. Unless you have a half hour to kill just for waiting on your food or simply enjoy self torture, this joke of a restaurant is not for you.
When I first arrived, I had to wait to place my order for a solid five minutes. No one was present in front of me. Though there was a man standing at the register, apparently his only job is to either sit and people-watch or complain about the restaurant. Finally, a lady came up. However, I had to sit by and take in their five minute back and forth about how there should be a monitor above the register on the wall. Finally, she acknowledged my existence. So, I attempted to order. I couldn't even get out the words "to go" before Mr. The-World-Revolves-Around-Me interrupts again discussing the all important issue of the much needed monitor. I waited patiently and tried again. I clearly stated my order, but apparently this woman was half deaf as I had to repeat my entire order, restating each part slowly and carefully. (It's important to mention English was most definitely her first language.) So, thus, a twenty minute wait ensued. When my order was finally ready, I realized that they're currently learning the difference between the phrase "for here" and "to go". Not only had she messed up such an easy detail, but she had failed to complete the entirety of my order. When I realized this, I went back up to the counter when no one else was ordering to inquire about the missing item. I looked her dead in the eyes and questioned her. Apparently, I blend in well to my environment as she looked blankly in to space. At this point, I had had enough. I juggled all my items that were supposed to be "to go" and angrily walked out. I think next time I'll...
Read moreIn 1982, my husband was a district manager at Wendys in the New Orleans area. Back then, you couldn’t find a better burger! “HOT N JUICY” was their thing…and they delivered. Today, after not having Wendy’s for years, I decided to pick up lunch before heading home. I ordered from the drive through. Dave’s Double w/mayo ketchup lettuce and tomato. NO CHEESE. Pull up with NO GREETING - just a hand off of my drink with a straw. Later got my bag from a manager I assume, Got a thank u then. When I stopped at a nearby park to eat it ( before it got cold n sloppy), I soon realized it was already sloppy n the fries were luke warm. The burger had pickles and raw onions - neither of which I requested. So, for almost 12 bucks, that’s what I got to “enjoy” …a sloppy, too wet burger with stuff I didn’t request and fries they could have kept! ( In addition, what kind of beef was dat? Very mealy tasting IMO) Maybe if workers were the least bit polite and courteous you MIGHT not mind getting your order screwed up! I could never understand why fast food places ( besides Chick fil- A ) either neglect or just can’t get employees to say: Hi or hello, may I have/take your order . And thanks or thanks you…throwing in a ma’am of sir now and then! HOW MUCH TIME DOES THAT TAKE TO EXECUTE! Here’s my advice Wendy’s, you’re about to feel great pain due to sky hi prices. That 12$ I spent for ONE BURGER MEAL will be better spent with customers making their own. AND IT’LL TASTE FAR BETTER… HOT...
