Arby's — Restaurant in Champaign

I went out to buy dinner for my wife and I. I went to Culver’s but after pulling in the parking lot and parked. I looked and seen a Arby’s and quickly changed my mind. Got back in my vehicle and drove to Arby’s. Got out of my vehicle to entire and found the doors locked. No sign, no one came to say anything, a person in what I believe in a mgmt. uniform passed by the front door area with a coffee put in their hand. There still was no acknowledgement that I existed. A second person showed up got out to come in but we both ended up driving away finding somewhere to eat. Please understand I realize it’s a struggle today to get people to deliver quality customer service,. If someone had came to door and said something to acknowledge my presence I wouldn’t be sending this email. I don’t know maybe the drive thru was opening but again there was no sign nor did anyone come to let us no one way or the other. My receipt from Culver’s shows 4:03:17 on 9/03/2022. After working the longest 16 hour day of my life my husband and I made a stop into Arby’s to try out the new doubles meal. But we didn’t get that far to try to meal because a worker told us not to come in when we were walking through the door red dreads kinda in the bigger side. So as my husband starts to walk in the same employee insisted they were closing and mind you it was only 8:40 pm and Arby’s don’t close dine in and drive till 10. I proceed to say I thought yall where open till ten the employee then gets an attitude with me and says that’s drive hours. And proceeded to tell me she tried to tell me they are closing. Now apon my phone call with corp the dining room and drive are both open untill 10. I have gone to this Arby’s for three years and now I’ll take my biz to Mahomet. 🤬 I hope upper management sees this review and takes action check cameras from 10-9-2024...

UPDATE: I don't know why it is still Drive-thru only here. But things have gotten worse at this location. I have patronized them a couple of times and they cannot seem to get an order right. On top of that, when I received my potato cakes one of them was half-size. And since it is only drive-through, you can't go back and have them make it right. I don't think I'll go here any more.

I have only patronized this place in the evening, but I have found the staff to be unfailingly polite, helpful, and friendly. I order something (potato cakes) which always takes extra time, but they don't make me stand and wait for the food, they deliver it to the table.

A pleasant surprise to hear "Thank you" instead of "There you go" and see a friendly smile to ask for your order instead of a dull stare. Highly...
