Man oh man, this restaurant makes my tummy happy.
The food: I don’t have words to describe how good it is. I live in Virginia but each time I go back all I can think about is the soon doo boo from Yogi. And don’t even get me started on the fried rice, it’s heavenly.
The service: These people here are so damn nice. Genuinely my second family. I’m an out of state student but every time I eat at Yogi I feel like I’m back at home.
The Atmosphere: LEGOS LEGOS LEGOS GALORE!!! I love legos so much but Yogi seems to love it more!
I can’t really express how much I love this place but let me just conclude with this:
If you asked me to live in a world without McDonalds or world without Yogi, I’m saying bye bye to McDonald’s without hesitation, AND I USED TO HAVE MCCHICKENS IN MY INSTAGRAM BIO!!!
Please do yourself a favor and just GO TO YOGI!

Read moreJust opened on Green Street. I've tried their kimchi fried rice and hot spicy korean fried chicken. I actually really liked their korean fried chicken, I think it's probably best I've had on this campus. Even compared to premium bbq chicken, the flavor here is better in my opinion and also really moist. The kimchi fried rice was alright, good portion but wasn't mind blown. Shrimp tempura was also alright, a bit dry but tasted fine.
EDIT 11/20 I returned the next day to try some more of their fried chicken flavors because I liked it so much, and I can definitely say you should come here to get korean fried chicken. I got the sweet spicy and soy chili flavors this time. All good, I think hot spicy was still a favorite though. I haven't tried padak yet, but I expect it's also good (their soy chili looks kind of like padak with the green onions but...
Read moreI don't understand why this place doesn't have a higher rating. The food here was so good, and the portions were big! I got the 순두부 찌개 (soft tofu soup) with beef, and my friend got the 떡 만두국 (rice cake and dumpling beef soup). My soup was just the right level of spicy, and it was piping hot as it should be. My friend also enjoyed her soup with rice cakes that were cooked well. It was the perfect way to warm up on a cold, rainy day. The atmosphere is nice, and I think the Lego sets displayed around the restaurant were super cool. I'm happy I finally found a Korean restaurant on campus that isn't super Americanized. I will definitely be coming...
