Stopped in to get a take out menu and was surprised at how inexpensive the food was. Decided to come back another time for dinner. When we came back a few nights later we decided to eat in. We were handed the eat in menu which was much more in price than the one we had received to go (obviously the portions must be smaller on the take out menu but still.) Our waiter wasn't rude…. but he wasn't all that attentive either. I thought it was weird that my husband ordered a pepsi and was served a CAN of pepsi (no glass with ice???) Before our food came our server dropped off two sauces. We tasted a bit of each beforehand. One was supposed to be a spicy mustard. It was super dry, not sure why. The other one was orange and had no flavor whatsoever (it was also cold… as if it had come directly from the fridge.) I found that odd considering it should have been at least room temp if it's served with hot food. I had the Moo goo gai pan and my husband had the sesame chicken. They were both good and the vegetables with mine were fresh and hot and not overcooked. The sesame chicken was nice and crispy. The fried rice they both came with was not what I am used to. It wasn't bad.. but it was pretty basic and I kinda questioned what kind of meat pieces were in it. I read that a few people loved the egg rolls in other reviews and all i have to say is they must've changed them over time because the ones we had were absolutely AWEFUL! Worst I have ever had anywhere. Again, not sure what kind of meat they used in them but the texture was horrible. Super dry meat substance! Not to mention the sauce they come with is supposed to be that flavorless cold orange sauce they put on the table beforehand. We had to ask for something different to dip them in. Overall, some things were good, some were awful. There are too many eateries out there to waste time going back to one that was subpar in some areas. Who knows, we went when it was almost dead… maybe if we get take out next time it might be a...
Read moreThis is what we got all of this for $27 ($32) with tip. I was just shocked how small the containers were. The lo main comes in a small medium size container and the chicken came in an even small container. I’ve never seen such small serving containers for the price we paid. Definitely not worth the price.
We ordered the general Tao chicken, house lo main noodles, house egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and the hot and sour soup. The extra, extra small container in the picture is the free white rice they throw in. And they just have one size when you order and that’s whatever they decide to give you.
The food was not worth it. The general Tao chicken didn’t taste anything like it’s suppose too and the hot and sour soup has too much of something my husband thinks maybe ginger? He loves hot and sour soup, but had two spoons of it and said I can’t this stuff tastes awful. And the house lo main noodles tasted like plain old normal roman noodles. The egg rolls were nothing special and the cream cheese wontons hurt your stomach.
I was pretty excited when I found this place. Hoping it would be our new place, but we won’t be ordering from here again. I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. I honestly don’t. Needless to say this was a first and last time coming here....
Read moreI only gave it one star cause I had to put something. But by far this is the worse Chinese food I've ever had. I guess you get what you pay for. It's cheap, but not worth it to spend the money when it's nasty. Spend a dollar or two more and get better food elsewhere! The menu online was very limited! So I called and he was very rude, he was telling me about the lunch special and I said oh, I don't see that online. And he proceeds to tell me it is online, why don't i look!? Omg, the menu in the store was huge compared to online! I got something very basic, the lunch of fried rice, sesame chicken, and wontons. First, the fried rice was flavorless & had nothing in it! Just that the rice is browned with some sauce, that's it! The wontons look big, but it was empty inside, barely any cream cheese! lastly, the sesame chicken looked good, but the taste wasn't. I can't quite put a finger on it, but it tasted spoiled! From the poor service on the phone, I should've known not to go, not to mention it took 25 mins before it was done! You truly get what you pay for. This was a...
