I have been to the 1900 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224 Del Taco location 3 times recently. Every time they have completely failed at making a burrito. I get it, they are del "taco," but a burrito is not that complicated. They failed because every time, every burrito (ordered multiple each time), they either squeezed the guts out of it or just spilled beans and extras all over the paper wrapper and even the paper bag. Del Taco does insist on making their burritos with an open side, which does up the difficulty level a bit, but if they are going to make a burrito with one open end they should figure out how to keep it presentable and edible. This last set of burritos ended up mostly in the paper wrapper, and then all over my passenger seat and even inside a drink I had in the center console. During one of these visits, the employee even said she gave me extra napkins because it would be messy. She smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I wish I had pictures of the mess in my vehicle, but alas I am not the type who sees a disaster and whips out their cellphone to start recording. Nope, I waited until I got to my destination, and pulled the one remaining burrito out of it's sad sack and took a pic of the pathetic excuse for a burrito. As one would imagine, opening that paper wrapper resulted in bean being dropped onto the paper bag and table, as well as getting on my hand. Maybe my expectations are too high for a $1.29 or $1.39 price tag. Although, as large corporations are upping their base pay, maybe they should raise their expectations a bit so mine do not seem so far out of touch.

*When I say "you" I'm addressing Del Taco* It was 7:30 a.m. when I first arrived at Del taco. I tried going through the lobby doors, which were locked, I went through the drive-thru twice and I even called the store. There was absolutely nobody there, the store was not open! I do not understand why Del Taco's store hours are posted( on the lobby door and also under the "hours" section on a Google search for Del Taco ) stating that Del Taco opens at 7:00 a.m. When that's obviously not the case! I left Del Taco around 7:50 a.m. and Del Taco remained closed. Meaning at that point, still no one had arrived to open the store! I personally don't find this acceptable business practice at all. I find it quite funny when individuals or businesses can't seem to meet the standards they set for themselves! Del Taco.....As a franchise, whether it's a corporation or individually owned, this specific Del Taco location has set business hours. You are also the one who posted those set business hours on the establishment's lobby door. If this specific location chooses not to operate by the posted business hours, you might want to consider adjusting your operating hours. Thanks.

Let's stop fooling ourselves. You know I want you. You know I can't stop thinking about you. Sure, there are many more that are much better than you but whenever I see you pass by, I just gravitate towards you. My eyes may wander but I always find myself paying and anxiously waiting to get my hands on the goodness that only your Macho Nachos can fulfill. Pop the top off and I'm in Heaven. You're a minx in ribbons of flowy golden cheese, adorned by rings of jalapeños. "Just one more chip and I'll stop..." Foolish. One becomes two, two becomes ten, and suddenly I'm staring down an empty container, feeling ashamed. Why do I let myself be a slave to your processed cheesy goodness? Why are those canned jalapeños so addictive? And more importantly, why do I feel my jeans getting tighter?! One day I'll quit you. For now, here's the dough. Get me another order of nachos,

Worst del taco ever. Nothing is fresh or really even edible! The crunchy taco shells and crunchtada are so disgusting they taste like old grease and make you gag instantly! On top of that they gave us chips and no guac for our order of chips and guac not to mention the chips smell disgusting just like the taco shells that made us both nearly puke! And the food was clearly just thrown in the bag and possibly wrapped by a child see my pictures! Apparently they dont care to read their order screen because they put lettuce on almost every taco when 75% of them were ordered with no lettuce and the beans were as crunchy as the crunchtada shell! Update: we went back and Amanda (the assistant general manager) was extremely rude to us saying she gave us extra food because "we ordered so much" when that absolutely is not true at all, we ordered 9 hard tacos 6 no lettuce and 9 soft tacos 6 no lettuce... we got 6 crunchy 3 without lettuce and 12 soft tacos and only 2 had no lettuce...Amanda was absolutely unwilling to acknowledge the problems with their food saftey/handling procedures that caused 2 people to instantly start gaging from one bite of the food they served us! The fryer oil obviously has not been changed for atleast a month or they are serving expired taco/crunchtada shells and holding beans so long they became dried out and disgusting...even the cheese tasted old.. this location does not uphold the deltaco standards in any way shape or form, especially the standards of freshness guaranteed! Amanda was unwilling to even issue us a refund for the full bags of food we left on the counter as we walked out to get away from her disrespectful treatment as she yelled at us about how nothing was wrong with the...

I have been to a few del taco locations prior to this one. However, I have NEVER experienced the vegan menu that way I did here! 😋 My family is whole food plant-based, but when I'm looking for a quick meal without meat, I expect a certain level of love in my food. LET ME TELL YOU please vegan eaters, if you need a bomb a** taco 🌮 from taco bell, look no further. The taco was no subpar, and the customer service MATCHED the quality of the food! I wish I got the cashiers name because he made sure we got everything we wanted and that's a lot considering my families order can get a little ridiculous 😕! He handle it like a professional. I can't stand a poor customer service provider as those are the face and front line of the company and ultimately will determine if I eat there again OR AT ALL! My doctors office is 6 min away from this location. So as long as I have to get my appointments, I will also be getting this taco! Even when we left one of the cooks wished a safe drive home! I love good customer service, it makes the food experience worth it. I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that he hadn't finished ringing up our order before the cooks were done making is. So much so, that our 6 year old daughter said "mom, I love their process!" DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM, JUST THIS LOCATION! THEY ARE AMAZING, NO LIE! We ate the food so fast that thre were no photos to post! Thank you taco bell for helping a very...
