Hon Machi Sushi is a gem that stands out not just for its exceptional cuisine, but for its warm and inviting atmosphere. My visit to this delightful sushi restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary, and it's an experience I eagerly anticipate repeating.
From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was perfect. The decor, lighting, and overall vibe created a comfortable and sophisticated dining environment. But what truly set Hon Machi Sushi apart was the personal touch provided by the owner herself. She waited on us, and her service was not just impeccable but also infused with genuine warmth and engaging conversation. Itās rare to find a place where the owner takes such an active role in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
The sushi chefs at Hon Machi Sushi deserve special mention. Watching them skillfully craft each dish added to the overall experience, and their creations were nothing short of phenomenal. Every piece of sushi we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Itās clear that they take immense pride in their work, and it shows in every bite.
Despite living 45 minutes away, the drive is more than worth it for the exceptional dining experience Hon Machi Sushi provides. We will undoubtedly return again and again, eagerly looking forward to each visit.
In summary, Hon Machi Sushi offers not just incredible sushi but an all-around delightful dining experience, thanks to its inviting atmosphere, outstanding service from the owner, and the impressive skills of its sushi chefs. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you can't tell Japanese food from Korean then this is the place for you. I ordered sashimi for my Japanese mom and it came out with jalapenos on it, yuck. The service was terrible, and it wasn't because it was Valentine's day. We waited nearly an hour for anything to come out, I even had to ask for our side salad and miso soup. Waitress made excuses for the fact that she didn't know a salad with ginger dressing is a green salad, not squid or seaweed, saying she's new. But then she served food to person next to me by putting her arm in my face twice, then poured regular water into my soda water. We didn't get our sides of rice so I walked to the front to check the menu and finally had to say something about the terrible service. They took 20% off our bill, but I'm very sad as I was so excited about the location and lakeside dining, just to be disappointed by everything else. To top it off, my scallop and shrimp dish which I thought would be teppan style was some weird shish kabob served too spicy. This place should not even call themselves a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood and service were great. I'm not giving them a 5 star because they need to update their pricing from the menu. I was looking at their regular menu in the appetizers section, I even pointed to the waitress and asked what exactly was the yellowtail jala ponzu. She nicely pointed to the picture on the other side of the menu and I ended up ordering it which showed the price of $9.95. I also ordered the angry edamame from the regular menu under the appetizers section for $4.95. When I received the bill the yellowtail showed $14.95 and angry edamame $6.50. I asked the waitress and she explained with the cost of everything going up their prices increased and it shows the updated pricing on the white paper menu to check the box of sushi options. Well long story short please update your menu so it is accurate in price. Yes we are all struggling and it is affecting us all but a menu is to show the food you offer along with the correct price. Otherwise, at least refer us to read the paper sheet for the...
