If you can't tell Japanese food from Korean then this is the place for you. I ordered sashimi for my Japanese mom and it came out with jalapenos on it, yuck. The service was terrible, and it wasn't because it was Valentine's day. We waited nearly an hour for anything to come out, I even had to ask for our side salad and miso soup. Waitress made excuses for the fact that she didn't know a salad with ginger dressing is a green salad, not squid or seaweed, saying she's new. But then she served food to person next to me by putting her arm in my face twice, then poured regular water into my soda water. We didn't get our sides of rice so I walked to the front to check the menu and finally had to say something about the terrible service. They took 20% off our bill, but I'm very sad as I was so excited about the location and lakeside dining, just to be disappointed by everything else. Food and service were great. I'm not giving them a 5 star because they need to update their pricing from the menu. I was looking at their regular menu in the appetizers section, I even pointed to the waitress and asked what exactly was the yellowtail jala ponzu. She nicely pointed to the picture on the other side of the menu and I ended up ordering it which showed the price of $9.95. I also ordered the angry edamame from the regular menu under the appetizers section for $4.95. When I received the bill the yellowtail showed $14.95 and angry edamame $6.50. I asked the waitress and she explained with the cost of everything going up their prices increased and it shows the updated pricing on the white paper menu to check the box of sushi options. Well long story short please update your menu so it is accurate in price. Yes we are all struggling and it is affecting us all but a menu is to show the food you offer along with the correct price.
