This was the worst experience we’ve ever had here, enough for us to walk out. My family of 6 walked in around 4:30pm for dinner. We were walked back to a table that we’ve had to sit at many times that we absolutely hate. It’s at the very back corner, odd shape which is hard for us to handle our 2 younger kids, and you get absolutely no air flow so it’s super hot. We asked if there was another table we could sit at because we don’t like sitting at that specific table. We were brought back up to the front and said we could sit at the table next to it (which currently was occupied) but had to wait 20 min. My husband asked what about all the other empty tables in the center of the restaurant. She said there was a party of 30 that had a reservation at 5pm. So we waited. The family that had occupied that table left. We were told it’s time to be seated. She brought us back to that same table we had initially been given. Confused we said we didn’t want that table, we thought we were waiting for this one. She claimed she thought we didn’t want to sit at that table because we didn’t want to be next to those specific people. Not the case at all. We asked if we could sit where the family was sitting that had just left, she said no those 2 tables are reserved. Meanwhile I’m looking at all of the “reserved” tables for the so called party of 30, and they were sitting separate parties of 2 and 4. Why could my family of 6 not be seated at one of those tables? We’ve sat as a party of 6 at those tables before and there is plenty of room. Our waiter (Edgar or Eddie) cant remember walked up once we’ve decided to leave. Explained why we were leaving and he’s the nicest kindest man (had him before), tried to accommodate us in making us feel comfortable to stay, talking about possibly switching tables around. The previous lady (older hostess in the front) we’ve been dealing with flat out said no and ultimately seemed like she did not want us there. It was that table or no table essentially. My family was tired from the heat, starving, and just had a horrible experience here. Now what was once a loved spot is now a memorable headache. We have no desire in ever coming back. We left and went some place where we were sat immediately, cold A/C, and had great service by all staff members. The older hostess needs to be...
Read moreHad two flag football games and afterwards we knew just the spot to hit up on a nice Wednesday evening….Valle Luna! Plus, it was Family Night. Well it was kinda busy, told us 15 min wait but they sat us in less than 10mins. We chose to sit outside which was perfect, they had the misters going, a lil breeze and the water fountain view on the little lake was perfect, very comfortable. The complimentary chips and salsa is always a hit and they are generous with it. We were a party of 9 & they made sure everyone had a bit of chips and salsa to share. Now the best part our visit was the waiter, his name is Eddie. He was so genuine, professional, courteous, polite & had a lot of pride in his service and it showed our entire time we were there. He was well knowledge on the menu and recommendations even for the kids. Now we were 3 adults and 6 kiddos so he understood the requests of the lil ones. There was this lady also assisting him and she was also very kind hearted and so attending to the kids. Like they were her lil ones, she help our lil daughter add sugar to her tea which I thought was very much human kindness in its purest form. She could have said “have your parents help you” or said nothing at all but instead she opened the packet and added it also more like a teaching moment for our lil toddler (4). Eddie keep checking in on us and made sure our drinks were full. Even brought a pitcher of tea to the table because majority were tea. They brought more chips and salsa because the food did take awhile because we were a party of 9, but Eddie took care of us. All in all just a superb evening, the food was spectacular, hot, fresh and very delicious. A perfect Valle Luna experience and I just say it was because of Eddie. Well done sir, well done 👏 👏 👏 💯. 10/10 all around! Sorry no photos to share but when you go, I’d say ask for Eddie if he’s on shift. 💯 And note to management: Please recognize Eddie for his superior commitment to service. Not every food establishment has the privilege of having a dedicated and hard worker like Eddie. We need more Eddie’s in the restaurant/ food & hospitality industry. It’s what makes dining out and experience worth while and memories...
