Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Chandler

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any drive through, much less restaurant. I have a 30 minute lunch break and decided to try Filbertos this afternoon. Worst decision ever. Not only did I spend my entire lunch break PLUS an extra 15 minutes (yes....45 minutes) in line in a drive through with only two cars ahead of me, but they didnt even get my order right. I ordered 5 rolled tacos and they only gave me 3. When I pulled in the drive through lane, only two cars were ahead of me. The first car was at the window for a good 15 minutes, the second car was at the window for a solid 15 minutes, and when it was my turn, I also spent 15 minutes waiting and I could see through the glass, and saw 2 ladies working and they were tending to customers that were dine-in, taking orders and payments and delivering food, etc, but completely ignoring us. It was 114 degrees outside and they had absolutely no care that there were now 8 cars behind me in line, and 6 of them hadnt even ordered yet because they hadn't reached the screen to order. I could see everyone behind me and they were SO frustrated. To make matters worse, when the food was finally ready she handed it to me out the window and did not apologize or explain why I had to wait in line 45 minutes for my food or say a single word about it!

I am absolutely not one to complain, and I can honestly say that I never in my life have ever complained about service anywhere. This is the first time I have EVER verbalized a complaint, and it was because I just can't hold in my frustration. I just returned to work after my lunch break, never even got to eat my food, they treated me, the people before me, and I'm sure the people behind me who were all waiting patiently with total disregard and I will never go to this Filibertos again. It was probably the nicest building, cleanest kitchen, etc I have ever seen at a Filibertos, but I would rather go to a smaller, dirty one where the staff at least cares, than ever return to this place. And if the owners ever read this, you should really talk to your staff about how to handle the customers. Common courtesy...

I am a loyal Filbertos customer and visit the pecos rd location a few times a month on average. I was in a different area than usual so I went to this location tonight for the first time. I am pretty disappointed as there were multiple issues. The food was lukewarm even though I started eating it less than 5 minutes after leaving the drive thru, I asked for sour cream as an add-on and he even said my order back to me and mentioned sour cream but did not include it, the vegetarian burrito I ordered comes with guacamole and that also was not in the burrito either. In addition, the horchata was not as good as usual, tasted like watered down milk and I couldn’t taste the cinnamon, and I did not get a receipt to confirm whether or not I was charged for the sour cream add on but I’m sure I was as the order came out to $17 and some change and the veggie burrito as is is a little under $10. No way was the drink $7. I am a pretty understanding person but this all added up to a disappointment and they weren’t busy either and I went before midnight so I have no idea what the issue was but I won’t be returning to this particular location. Ordered 1 burrito through drive-thru. Was told the total is $13.49. Drove up to the window, was told total is $13.49. When I paid with my Apple Pay, the amount showed up on my phone as $14.03. No receipt was given.

When the associate came back and handed me my order, I asked why was I charged $14.03 when I was told the total is $13.49. She responded because I paid with the card. I asked why didn’t she said anything before she charged. And her response was “I’ll give you your receipt” ??? I told her don’t bother.

There’s no sign or whatsoever saying that there’s an additional 4% charge for paying with card, nor did she tell me that there will be an additional charge for paying with card. Stay away from this...
