I feel like this place used to be a little bit better but it's still all right. The staff seem friendly enough and a close-knit group. I wouldn't be surprised if they were family but I don't think they are. Ordering ahead is okay but there's some dollar limit where they will insist on paying first. I don't really like that but I do understand if they've been left with unsold food I can get why they do this but I'm not really happy giving out credit card information over the phone and I don't want to order when I'm there and then have to wait. So it gives me a mixed opinion hence the middle of the road review.
The chicken teriyaki is pretty tasty if you ask for extra sauce they no longer just give you a container they give you a little packets of stuff that's not as nice as them adding it directly or little containers. I feel like whatever is in those packets can't be particularly fresh. That is a minor knit. They also offer a beef teriyaki and a combo. And they also do some kind of sushi My kids like to get the sushi roll bowl and it's okay. There's a lot of rice so you're going to end up with a lot of carbs if you eat the whole thing.
To be clear notwithstanding my three-star review I've gone here pretty often it's reliably okay and they seem to be pretty careful about cross-contamination in the food so if you have allergies ask about it but we haven't had problems. And that's something worth...
Read moreHow does an Asian/Sushi restaurant run out of rice!? We went in months ago and due to our experience at this location said that we would never eat at a Yogi's Grill again. Rude and careless staff. The line was out the door and we waited for almost 20 minutes. During that time nobody told us that they were out of rice and all sushi and there was no notice posted. Unprofessional management. We left without getting anything. I left a review on Yelp right after this happened but did not leave a review on Google. I am leaving a review now because this location deserves a negative review and the customers deserve the truth so that they do not have to be inconvenienced and disappointed like we were. For the price they are charging for their sub-par sushi (if they even have it in stock lol), just go to another restaurant. Almost any other place in the Phoenix area is better than this and the price is probably even cheaper at most of them if you go during happy hour for a better...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the customer service was some of the worst Iâve ever experienced. When I walked in, I wasnât greeted or acknowledged in any way. Instead, the girl at the front desk just stared at me without saying a word. I had to initiate the conversation myself to place an order.
To make matters worse, the employee giving me this terrible service was dressed in pajamasâyes, actual pajamasâmaking the place feel unprofessional. She had really long braided hair and was quite tall, which made her presence noticeable, but unfortunately, not in a good way.
Itâs a shame because the food was really good. If the service had matched the quality of the meal, this would have been an easy five-star experience. But with staff acting indifferent and unprofessional, it makes me hesitant to return. Hopefully, management takes this seriously because this place has great potential!
Final Verdict: Foodâ5/5 â,...
